Horrible staff. Very rude on the phone when they were the ones who had called me by mistake. The lady on the phone said they needed someone right away because they are so short staffed and she also let me know I was the only person who applied for the position so she knows that the job was mine. I come in, the lady at the front desk (I wish I knew her name) was SO amazing! She found another person to talk to me about this job, lady named Kathy. She told Kathy what I applied for and what I was interested in. Kathy proceeds to ask what I want to do for work and I told her that I applied for the recruiter position and staffing assistant and that's what I am interested in. This lady tried getting me into a warehouse I have NO experience and I told her I didn't want to work warehouse. The next day 2 different employees called me about the recruiter position telling me to come in as soon as I can to finish all of the paper work for the job! I told them I came in already but the assured me that I had the job I just needed to finish some paperwork. I drive all the way there and THE LADY IN THE FRONT DESK SAID ALL OF MY INFO WAS IN THE SYSTEM FOR THE JOB! Kathy tells me once again oh I have nothing for you and sends me away. I wasted my gas and time going up there multiple times because the employees kept calling me telling me I got the job. I feel this place is racist, if I'm the only person who applied and multiple employees are calling me telling me how short staffed they are even going as far as telling me they can't wait until I start and Kathy sends me away each time is bogus. No kind of explanation or reasoning for why I didn't get the job that I was told was mine to begin with! I feel they judged me based on my skin color and if I wouldn't of Ben African American they would've hired me. I have been looking into this place and other people have experienced the same thing. I am looking into a lawsuit against this racist company. How are you a staffing agency but choosing which employees you want to give jobs. This company is FRAUD! Please don't come here for work! Terra, Logic, etc will treat you better and not discriminate!

Unfortunately, she moved on and things went downhill. My new representative was completely neglectful. I interviewed for a position (an interview my previous representative got for me) and she didn't even to call to update me to let me know that I did not get the Job. I found out 3 weeks later when I called and talked to her supervisor. The worst part is that this agent is the manager of this location. I called a couple of times to try and see if I could work with a different agent, and no one ever called me back.

The office is in a cool 4-story State building ironically on State Street in Tacoma. If you driving North on I-5 and you see the super sized American flag just past Tacoma Mall, WorkSource is hidden right behind in the neighborhood on the other side of the flag. There is plenty of parking, and the office (2nd floor) is welcoming. Check in at the front desk and you will be greeted by someone with a smile and a willingness to help. Can't ask for much more than that. Oh, parking and their services - free! Have fun!

Worksource partners, such as Career Team do not have the knowledge to guide people on unemployment…read morethat really need help! And I was told the State don't pay for career training, what is this crap? I thought people on unemployment are suppose to get help, how can we pay Bill's and survive staying on unemployment? The problem is, with the $600 eliminated how do we live with only $300 weekly? More people need to speak this State should not get by with this...! Any other desperate people need to get on here & speak, please do so!!
