Which when I had set the appointment up was told that they most generally send extractions out to a surgeon. After the last cancellation I was told that she was going to charge me $50.00 for not giving a 24 hr notice. That was ok, I scheduled my next appointment only because someone else had answered and I was informed that I could go to a surgeon on Hill Rd. (I Use YourRide-which means Genesee Co. only) the previous person had told me that they sent patients to 59 in Hartland, not covered by YourRide. I was willing to pay the money, but when you live on Disability bills are hard to pay. In good faith I called today to tell them that I do not have the $50.00 fee due to a late cancellation. My appointment was for this Wednesday, August 6. Now mind you my emergency is a back molar that has split in half. This is the 5th tooth that has done this since Primary Bone Cancer. It doesn't hurt at this point, but it will, it is difficult to chew on just the one side. Why is it when I was coming in find out if they could take it out, the others just basically fell out. There's no surgery to it. There is no money in it, when a general dentistry doesn't do general, anymore but sends everyone to a surgeon. But instead concentrates on Cosmetic Services instead..... I was going to pay, just because I am poor doesn't mean I'm going to rip you off. I wish I could say the employees name but I won't stoop to her non-compassionate attitude towards someone with a tooth dangling in their mouth. I as a former healthcare professional wonders what happened to compassionate patient care. It used to be a higher calling, like Pastors, Priests and Clergy. My mom went in for a cleaning same day as me and also had to come back for fillings. she got them filled and everything was fine but after my experience i told her we NEEDED to switch. just had a dentist appointment today at a different office (burton dental AMAZING place i 100% suggest) and they told my mom she now needs a root canal on that exact tooth because they didn't take out the rotted part properly and just filled right over it! we are now 1,000 down because she now needs an entire operation when we went to avoid this exact issue. needless to say do not go to this office, the staff is nice but the work is terrible. if you wanna spend more money than you got and never get it back be my guest! we are contacting lawyers because of this.

The receptionists, nurses, assistants and Dr Chinonis are all very friendly and skilled. I get great service every time and leave happy. They have all the most modern equipment. Dr Racine and his staff answered all my questions when I was thinking about using his services. I was impressed that this dentist office was keeping up with the times with newer style X-ray equipment, air filtering, and other newer dental technologies. I have now been there for a total of six appointments as I needed considerable dental work after postponing dental visits for two plus years of the pandemic. At all visits I have been promptly greeted by a friendly face, and time spent in the waiting area has been minimal. Dr Racine and the various staff and technicians have been cordial, professional, answered all my questions about the procedures I was there for, and explained what they were going to do, and what they were doing as they worked on me. They consistently check to see that I am comfortable, and OK, while they are working on my teeth. They offer free nitrous oxide upon request, and being a bit of a wuss I request it each time. I have had scaling and deep cleaning for Periodontal issues, multiple crowns, and several cavities filled now and all done painlessly, with minimal discomfort. I am fully happy with the work, and experiences I have had with Dr Racine, and Vienna Family Dentistry, and I like their very realistic ceiling light covers that I have been getting a lot of time to look at.
