It began with noticing that cleanings were becoming rushed and incomplete -- sometimes it felt like no real cleaning was done at all. Over time, that lack of thoroughness became the norm. The final straw came with a serious issue involving a financing plan for my son's treatment. Although I agreed to an 18-month, no-interest plan, the office enrolled me in a 24-month plan with 26% interest. It took me four stressful weeks and numerous calls and emails (many unanswered) to get it fixed. At one point, I was even told the account could only be canceled if I opened a new one, which felt coercive and unprofessional. As a Deaf patient, I rely on email communication, yet messages often went ignored. Two years later, I still haven't received the final statement or an explanation for the mysterious $125 credit that I was supposedly owed. Our new dentist also questioned the amount of work that was recommended here -- and several of my son's fillings had to be redone because they had fallen out, costing us $750 out of pocket. I'm sharing this so others know to review their paperwork carefully, confirm financing terms, and keep all communication in writing.

I came in for a cleaning today 9/1/26. I have a wire along my bottom 6 teeth (previously completed…read moreorthodontic treatment). During flossing, the hygienist broke part of the wire and caused it to leave a sharp edge irritating my gums and tongue. Dr. Lee came in when she was finished and said she can fix it today or I can opt to go to my ortho. Mind you, ortho appts are rarely same day so I opted to have Dr. Lee fix it. She then asked two more times what I wanted to do and when I once again told her, she advised me it may be a bit of a wait. Ok fine. But like I said three times already, I will have it fixed while I am here. It was then at the front desk where I was handed a bill for $187 to get the wire fixed. Unacceptable. I told them my wire had given me no issues up until my visit today and that I should not be the one responsible to pay out of pocket for damage that was not done by my hands. Needless to say I left without the wire being fixed. Be mindful of this review if you are considering becoming a patient here. They could pull something like this on you or your child.

It then continued with the incredible, caring Dr Assefa Demewoz, who did his best to care for my teeth; he is not only professional but also truly one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. He is also very helpful, passionate, and persistent in prioritising my needs, demonstrating virtues and values he clearly possesses. At the end of the day, we are dealing with patients' health here, and Dr Assefa genuinely does his best to care for patients in need.
