I have only been to Sudley Manor Dental Care one time so far, but i was very impressed with the care i received there. Dr. Cai was very gentle, calm, patient, and NON judgmental about the state my teeth are in. I have some heightened phobias revolving dental work, so needless to say i was very scared to go in. I embarrassingly hadn't seen a dentist since i was a child, so i have some extensive dental issues. Everyone there made sure i was comfortable and assured me that i was in good hands. Due to my crazy anxiety, i was panicking and crying thru most of my appointment. Dr. Cai really went out of his way to make sure i was okay, and he assured me thru the whole process that i was doing a great job. I cant thank him enough for doing his best to put me at ease. The actual facility is beautiful. Very modern with obvious attention to technological advances. Everything seemed high tech and state of the art. It doesn't have that super 'cold' vibe some medical offices have. Very warm and inviting. I've already told several people about Dr. Cai & his dental practice. Highly recommend. I can't speak for every patient as im sure its case by case, but since i don't have any dental insurance, they worked with me so that i could afford the work i desperately needed. I genuinely felt they cared about my health before making a buck. Dr. Cai personally called me himself 4 days after having 2 teeth extracted to check on me and make sure everything was healing as planned. His staff(especially Lisa i think her name is) was also very warm and helpful. I called the office multiple times before and after my procedure to ask questions and she was a delight every time. Never made me feel like one of "those" annoying patients. I think i have found my forever dentist. I really cant say enough nice things about this place. If you want a dentist that is kind, understanding, gentle, and good at what they do i highly recommend you give sudley manor dental care a try! This was my worst experience ever with a dentist. The dental assistants seemed uneducated and even began to numb the wrong side of my mouth before a procedure. I should have left then... The dentist, Dr. Kourosh Bazarjani, was rude, squeezed my face while performing a root canal, pulled on my hair and pinched my lips and cheeks with his instruments, and was incredibly condescending and dismissive to me. He outwardly showed frustration while working on my mouth, and even let out several loud sighs to let me know that he was having a tough time. Before the procedure, he asked me to raise my hand if I had pain. When I raised my hand several times, he dismissed me and pressed the drill into my tooth even harder. The office manager "had a talk with him", and he came back even more rude and aggressive. I will be reporting this doctor and the practice to the Virginia Dental Board. read more

It's been a couple of years since I last had a check up and the dr's, assistants, and front desk were beyond amazing and so kind. I had an exam, cleaning, and teeth whitening all done. They were patient with me as I asked questions, very kind, and such a pleasure to talk to. Janet especially was patient and took her time to prep my teeth before the whitening which resulted in barely any sensitivity. My teeth are SO white I was shocked! I came in for a routine cleaning but hadn't been in a year. Turns out, I needed a crown. I was a little nervous since I've never had to get anything more than a filling. Dr. Ubee was very attentive and reassuring by explaining what she was doing and if I had any questions. She was very meticulous when working on my crown and properly fitting it. The staff was polite and courteous as well. The office was nice and clean and the location was convenient off of Route 234. I will come back here for future cleanings and work if I need it! :) read more

Searched on yelp for a dentist and got to this place - very nice and clean - nice staff - new equipment and looks all new - today was my first visit However - when I got all x rays done and the dr told me about my options - I went to the front desk to see my insurance contravene and the lady said that my insurance is not covering anything - which I was surprised - my husband took cake of his teeth for a very low coast through the same insurance but in a different place . The lady said shell Call the insurance again to check info - she got back to me - and 'surprisingly ' my insurance did cover most of the treatments - I was very disappointed- I know we all want to make money - but I lost my confidence- and therefore - I will not go back to this place . read more

My 14 year old (who is scared of the dentist) informed me that his molar had broken in half. He was having pain eating and once finding out he let me know it has been like this for about a month!!!! (I was livid) I began calling around different dentists in Manassas to try to get him in quickly. Me and his dad both work and we have only one car. I knew it was alot to ask to try to work around our schedules, and with school looming around the corner I needed to act fast. Let me tell you the staff there is top notch, very personable, caring, and understanding they got him in a couple days after the inital call and was then able to schedule the root canal for the following day. Do not trust this office. There is a different doctor every time and the quality of care keeps decreasing every time. The last person we saw seemed highly disappointed that he could not charge me more because I had no problems or visual signs of cavities. Then he told my husband that although his cray was clear and he was in no pain he should have a root canal. To top it all off he was in serious need of orthodontic work and a tick-tac. If that wasn't bad enough, the billing department did not mention that our dental coverage only covered part of our care. Every time we checked out I would ask how much I owed them and it was, "nope you're all good hon" then 6 months later I have a bill with a collections agency. I have never not paid a bill or been late of any payments, so to have a collections agency contact me I was extremely upset. This bill was never given to us or explained why it was present because again every time we left to office it was, "no payments needed you're all paid up." So please do your credit and your oral health a favor and DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!! read more

An excellent experience. The hygienist, Hygi Oshin, ensured every safety protocol was met and that I was comfortable. The exam and cleaning was very thorough, with Hygi carrying on an entertaining conversation through two masks and a face shield. Dr. Hopkins examined my xrays and teeth and provided sound and solid advice for future procedures. I couldn't feel more comfortable or assured that I was getting the best and safest care. I switched to this dentist from a very big practice that I felt lost in. I cannot stress how happy I am with the switch. I was able to get an appointment here very quickly, and filled out all my forms (and even submitted them!) online. The lobby was very beautiful and I really appreciated the modern touches: a Keurig, a charging station, and a prominent sign with the wifi password. I actually didn't get to take advantage of any of these things because I waited less than a minute before I was called back. Talk about a change from my last place. The staff here was incredibly nice, personal, and positive. I honestly don't think I could have had a better experience. I highly recommend this place. read more

My mother received a dental cleaning and received her first bill which is expected, but what is not expected is someone to write in marker "please submit payment to avoid legal process". Had to schedule a meeting with ER because of how rude this place was to me. They refused me service because of my goth look. They wrote me a prescription for Tylenol 3 (My tooth is cracked in half and heavily infected) then once the lady in charge saw my snake bites and black nail polish she ripped the prescription up and insisted I take ibuprofen until they referred me to another office which I am already pretty much overdosing on (3200mg a day) to not even manage the pain. I had to cancel all my appointments with them because I don't like being treated like a drug addict for asking for medicine I need even though I'm straight edge. I've had no previous interactions with these people but I would highly recommend going to a practice that is run by younger doctors. There was a lot of Cognitive Dissonance. Like I hurt their pride by not letting them talk down to me. My tooth is still in pain and they did literally nothing for me. read more

Just relocated back to the area and needed a Dentist for a cleaning. Found them on Yelp, called and immediately the phone was answered by a woman who was very personable, polite and friendly. I was able to get an appointment the very next day. I only had to wait long enough to get my patient information and insurance paperwork completed. It is best to do it online before you go, (I would have but had no access to the Internet). The Dentist was very polite, informative and all the equipment was up to date and the entire place was clean and very nicely decorated. I had a very pleasant experience here and will definitely be returning and recommending them to others. read more

Please Avoid this place . I went Sudley manor in 2016 for regular cleaning of my teeth. They found some major imperfection/ problem with 2 teeth's . They suggested for extraction and getting new crown . I got my extraction done in same week . Plus they took care of some Cavities. I have to wait for 5-6 months for getting crown on that teeth next to extracted. I went back in 2017 and found that Dentist who did my extraction is no longer working there . So by no choice I have to see only available dentist there . By looking at my teeth : he suggested that crown is not good idea and go for the Bridge instead. I was supposed to pay $700 for crown but then ended in paying $1500 approx for Bridge . I was told that bridge will be good for many years but I have to be careful by cleaning it everyday .since day one I was using flossers every day. Exactly after one year my Bridge came out while I was eating my Breakfast.. call them and went there . Again this time I found that 2nd dentist is also no longer working there and I have been seen by new female dentist . She said that bridge is broken . And they cannot do anything about it . INow they asking for another $2k plus for treating that . As 2nd dentist told me that bridge is good for minimum 3-5 years and can be good for longer if I take care of them properly . But now they are just refusing to take care of that bridge and asked me to pay fully for new treatment. I'm very helpless and just looking at my options to go after them .
