I might not remember her name but I certainly remember her great attitude and calming nature. They are two of the most understandings and caring health care professionals I've encountered. Both of them are super supportive of the recovery community. No one likes going to the dentist, but everyone from front the office staff to the billing in the back are awesome at their jobs and take great pride in their work. I was recently laid off and will be transitioning into new insurance. I wanted to have everything taken care of while my deductible was met. The staff got me scheduled for ALL my dental work in one day! There is no way I could have had 4 filings replaced and a tooth extraction AND a root tip removal in one day anywhere else. My 10AM appointment to have two fillings replaced went exactly as scheduled- while checking out the office staff informed me of a 3pm last minute cancellation. They had me come back that afternoon for two more filling replacements. I jokingly told Dr Smith why not just pull the tooth and root tip too? And he did! I wanted to get it all out of the way as soon as possible. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time. His hygienists in the afternoon switched around my bite block and modified some things to maximize my comfort. No one loves seeing the dentist, but it's about as painless as possible with the great the great team at Frankel Dentistry! I had a consult between appointments regarding dental implants and both of the ladies who helped me were great. They gave me so much information and even got me a referral for Invisalign. I might have a little pain today, but I've definitely got a lot to smile about.

When she came to do my exam, she acted like she could not be bothered to explain my care plan or my needs to me. And she got frustrated when I was confused and asked questions. When I got frustrated in response to her, her tone and approach got increasingly ruder. As a dental provider, I would expect her to display at least SOME level of kind bedside manner. This was just the opposite. She didn't want to have to explain anything or answer questions, and she acted like me asking questions was bothering her. Also, the day prior to my appointment, I received a phone call saying that I "had to call back to confirm my appointment" same day or it would be cancelled. I received texts notifying me of my appointment but NONE of those texts said to affirmatively "Confirm" my appointment or respond in anyway. They were just informational messages. I never received a text or any message saying that I needed to affirmatively confirm. So when I got the phone call and called them back, the receptionist explained that they had a "new policy" where you "must" confirm your appointment by the day prior or it will be cancelled. I received no notification of this policy. I explained that the text messages I received never sought or asked for affirmative confirmation either. I was again met with frustration and apathy. There were also comments made about how they would not recommend replacing a crown if it was done within 2 years because then "insurance wouldn't pay for it." But if it was more than 2 years ago, they would recommend getting a new crown. Whether I actually needed a new one didn't matter. That tells me their care decisions are driven by money. Frankly, the entire business model feels like a money grab and like they do not care about CARING for their patients.

Dr. Attar and his staff are top notch in advanced dentistry including surgery and customer service. I am a real stickler on customer service and I have been consistently impressed. Dr. Attar performed a challenging surgery for me that even an ENT could not do and an oral surgeon wasn't sure about. It was performed in his office with complete confidence rather than in a hospital at less than 25% of the cost. Dr. Attar has all the advanced equipment including a 3D panoramic x-ray scanner. My wife also had implants done by Dr. Attar and has had no issues. I guess he trains other dentists in implant techniques. She is the one who told me to go to Dr. Attar after five years trying to find a solution for the pain through an ENT and an oral surgeon. Don't hesitate going to see Dr. Attar for help.
