Had to be painfully re-administered . During one of the apologies from a passing dental assistant, I was told he was finishing an exam and would be in shortly. No recognition or apology for the situation from Dr. Zieler This is only one of the unprofessional and inconsiderate occurrences under his care. Dr is not rough and informs you of everything he's getting ready to do or doing at that moment. He takes most insurances and their prices are very reasonable. At first the name turned me off because I thought an artistic dentist has to be pricey, but NOPE not at all ! Throughout all of those years, we never had a complaint and had a great deal of trust in the practice. Unfortunately, my recent experience under the new owner, Dr. Loftin, has been extremely disappointing. I inquired about Invisalign to close the gap between my front teeth. During my consultation, I was given a detailed explanation of the process, provided a quote, and shown a 3D simulation illustrating how my teeth were expected to move and what my smile would look like at the end of treatment. Based on that information, I committed to the treatment and followed all of the instructions I was given. After paying thousands of dollars, wearing Invisalign for months, and completing all of the trays provided, the gap between my front teeth is still there. It is essentially the same size as it was before treatment. Looking at my smile, you would not know that I had undergone Invisalign treatment at all. What has been especially upsetting is that, after investing so much time and money, the solutions offered to me were either veneers--which would require spending even more money--or possibly adding something to the back of my mouth to shift my teeth forward. I understand that dental treatment does not always produce perfectly predictable results. However, after being shown a 3D representation of the expected outcome, paying thousands of dollars, completing the prescribed treatment, and following the instructions, I expected a meaningful improvement in the issue I specifically sought treatment to correct. Instead, I feel worse about my smile than I did before I started. After being a loyal patient for more than 20 years, this experience has been particularly disappointing.

The staff…read moreis disorganized, and some of the front desk employees are extremely rude, unprofessional, and clearly unhappy with their jobs. My issues began with a scheduled filling appointment. I received a confirmation text, yet when I arrived, I was told my appointment wasn't confirmed. After waiting 30 minutes, I was then asked to come back later or reschedule -- even though I had already taken time off work. The most frustrating part is that my dental insurance was ending the very next day, and I was trying to use it before losing coverage. I filed a complaint and never heard back -- no call, no email, nothing. I also have braces through Taylor Dental, and throughout my treatment, they've had three different orthodontists. Each time, my treatment plan changed. The latest orthodontist introduced a new plan, which the front desk told me would require an extra payment. I wasn't happy, but I agreed because I just want my teeth done right. I rescheduled my next appointment for July 31, 2025 at 3:15 PM, but today I received a text asking me to confirm a 9:15 AM appointment instead. When I called to correct it, I spoke with a staff member who said she usually works at their New Orleans location. She was dismissive and rude, telling me I needed a filling first and that the 3:15 time was no longer available. After a frustrating exchange, I told her to cancel everything -- only to be told I'd owe an extra $250 for removal, even though removal and retainers are included in my treatment plan and my contract is already past its end date. This is now the second time they've canceled or changed my appointment without notifying me. The customer service is terrible, communication is poor, turnover is constant, and the quality of care is not consistent. If I hadn't called today, it would have been another wasted day. I've left another complaint -- we'll see if anyone follows up this time.
