In my opinion Dr. Ramsey is one of the finest doctors I have ever worked with. And at my age I've had a lot of dentist work on my teeth. Even though he was one of my students in college, he has still impressed me with his professionalism and his expertise. On several occasions he has gone out of his way to accommodate me For several problems. But I don't think it had anything to do with our relationship. I say this because I have spoken to several other of his patients and they have been treated the same as me. If you're looking for a dentist in the Palm Beach Gardens area definitely Ritter and Ramsey should be your choices.

Usually people do not say that they had a great time at the dentist, but I had a blast. The staff....each and every one of them were just very down-to-earth and kind. Not a frown in the office. I only waited for about 10 mins after checking in. The lobby was immaculate and smelled wonderful. Oh, what I loved too was that you park and the door is right there. No hunting for the location and wandering around like a mad person in this heat. It was very easy to get to. So anyway.... I was taken back to the room, which was not closed off yet private enough that I did not feel the whole office was looking in my mouth. His assistant (Orianna...I remember the Anna part..sorry girl) asked me what brought me in and I explained all of my concerns. She made me feel comfortable with being really honest with her about my issues. She took x-rays and was super conversational in the process which continued to help calm my jitters. The doctor came in and ran a thorough review of my mouth and my x-rays. All I know is, the last dentist I visited was not as detailed with a game plan on how to get me back to 100%. He broke everything down in layman's terms. I was able to understand the what and the why to get us to a final outcome that we both would be happy with. I appreciate how willing they were to take the time to explain everything to me. I left with no unanswered questions and future appointments have been booked. I have already referred a close friend, and I am sure she will keep the trend after she visits with Dr. M and his team. I have not been so optimistic on my oral health in a long time. I gotta say, it was a good day!

Unfortunately, the quality of care and customer service has declined drastically. A bridge placed in 2019 failed and fell out, and instead of taking responsibility, the office manager blamed me and demanded $2,000 upfront for a replacement -- contradicting their own written policy stating only 50% is due up front. When I confronted them with the signed paperwork, they backtracked, calling it a "mistake." Appointments were canceled four times for a permanent crown after my temporary was placed in July. The office staff -- especially Renata -- were unprofessional, dismissive, and dishonest. I've now requested my records and am seeking a second opinion. Depending on that outcome, I will consider legal options. I caution others to avoid this practice -- especially if you expect accountability or long-term care.

A little over two years ago, I had a crown done at this office by the other dentist. Last night, the crown came out while I was drinking a coffee. I temporarily cemented it back in and called the office the next morning and they were able to see me that day. At the appointment, they removed the crown to evaluate the tooth. They told me that a filling they had placed under the crown had come out as well, and that there was additional decay under the crown. Their proposed treatment was a tooth repair and a new crown. Because insurance will only cover a crown on the same tooth once every five years, I was told I would be responsible for the full $2,741 cost. The reason I was given for the practice not sharing any responsibility for the replacement cost was that I had stopped coming there for routine cleanings. I found that extremely disappointing. A crown should last more than 2.5 years. I have other crowns from my time in the Navy that have lasted more than 20 years. I declined to proceed with the treatment and left. A few minutes later, I went back inside and asked that they at least return me to the condition I was in when I arrived by re-cementing the crown they had removed during the appointment. They declined, handed me a packet of two-part dental cement, and asked me to leave. While I was understandably upset during the conversation with the office manager, I did not yell, curse, threaten anyone, or behave aggressively. I was very direct about the inappropriateness of their refusal to back their own work . About an hour later, I received a call from a Jupiter police officer because the office had contacted law enforcement to no trespass me. After this experience, I will not be returning to this practice. The issue is not simply that the crown failed. It is that the practice refused to stand behind their own work that failed after a relatively short period of time, which they were well paid for and then placed the full financial burden on me to redo that work, and then further declined to even just restore the crown after removing it. They then also chose to escalate the situation by calling the police after I questioned their decision. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for dental care. Our family of four will never be back.

I had seen two…read moredentists, one of whom insisted I get a bone graft ($400. out of pocket cost- not!) even though I wasn't having a tooth implanted and one who was honest about not being able to remove it because it broke close to the gum line on one side, she suggested I see an oral surgeon. After much research I found a highly qualified oral surgeon, Dr. Paul Weinstein in Jupiter/ Palm Beach Gardens. After a consultation/ x-rays I felt good about Dr. Weinstein. He has impressive qualifications and didn't push a bone graft (like another dentist I went to) or pad the bill with unnecessary procedures. I'm sure if he saw something that needed attention he would discuss it with me. Like I said, he is knowledgeable and qualified in his field. I made the appointment to have the tooth extracted. It went very good. He is very personable and made me feel at ease. His assistant was also very nice. I didn't need to be put under for this and Dr. Weinstein was able to remove the tooth in sections because of how it broke.
