I feel like the staff value their customers differently. The receptionist's, hygienists, and Dr. Kaplansky himself give varying treatment levels in terms of service to customers. I found my cleaning to be rushed. I mean 35-45 minutes in and out rushed. My hygienist was not the most personable either. I tried to make small talk, and help ease my anxiety of the dentist but she did not make me feel any more comfortable. Dr. Kaplansky is a busy man, totally understandable. But as a patient, I feel like I should be paying for his presence, instead of him popping in and out to say hi for 1-2minutes during a 1 hour appointment. Although there are two receptionist's working behind the counter, I always find there to be a wait. They fail to even make eye contact with you. Half of the time, they are on the phone with someone, or starting at their computer screen. I understand you are busy, but make your patients feel welcomed, and valued, or else your banner of #1 Dentistry in Mississauga is completely irrelevant, misleading, and un-deserved.

Dr. Kaplansky was extremely compassionate and caring, and kept me calm throughout this traumatic experience. He was patient with me and reassured me everything would be ok. As a result of my accident, I required both a root canal and crown for my front tooth. Dr. Kaplansky was very professional and did an incredible job on the procedure. Thanks to the precision of his work, I left the office with my smile back, good as new :). I can't thank Dr. Kaplansky enough for the work he did, and I would absolutely recommend him as a dentist.

Finally, just by chance I came across the newly opened Aims Dentistry and decided to give it a try. This clinic is top notch, clean, spacious and with the latest technology. But best of all is the gentle and precise dentistry I have ever experienced from a dentist. I dread when dentist perform freezing, the needle always hurts and continues long after I have left the clinic. When Dr. Mandeep Sandhu does the freezing I don't feel or realize when the freezing is administered, she is so gentle. In my opinion Dr. Sandhu is very thorough, she explains exactly what and why a procedure needs to be done when you are experiencing a problem. Originally I had visited another dentist up the street, but I had a very negative experience there taking out my wisdom teeth. My family had been going to Mavis before I moved back and suggested that I give them a try. I booked an appointment to see Dr Monica (Amanika Luciani) for a consult. Since my family had been going there for years I had decided to give them a try. The first dentist that I went to in the area for my wisdom removal had outsourced a "travelling specialist" who performed the extraction. The result was my gums being hacked up and the extraction not complete. Dr Monica, after our initial consult corrected all the mistakes that the "specialist" had done. After the procedures for correction were complete, my wife and I had moved our business to Mavis Dental. Over the years my wife and I have had emergencies and issues which needed immediate attention. I have had no issues being able to see Dr Monica or Dr (Micheal Luciani) Mike either that day or the next day. I appreciate that they take the time with you to tell you the issues or options for your dental health. This professionalism and courteous nature also translates to the dental hygienists and support staff at the office. The hygienists are friendly and thorough with their examination/cleaning. The front desk staff are great as well!! Understanding the daily grind of most people, they will try to schedule and appointment that fits your life..not theirs. If you have an issue with your teeth or dental health and are in the Mississauga area, don't have any hesitation to visit Mavis Dental...5 stars!!

He then went ahead to file down the bottom of that tooth because the filling had harden by that point and now that tooth is shorter than my other front tooth and now my smile is crooked. Horrible Office Staff Experince!…read more I tried to email this place about their dental practices as I was curious for some insight and was rudely spoken to in an email and degraded by whomever emailed me today (2 march 2024). Whoever works at the Dr Arun Narang office should check how this person spoke to me, it was a simple misunderstanding on my part and was hit back with a degrading email that made it seem like I wasn't "serious" about what I was asking about. I was told to send photos, x-rays and a letter from my orthodontist so they could refer me to a surgeon, which I responded that I would get those documents from my orthodontist (since I don't have them with me so I would need to ask my ortho) and I said this I said that I would need to contact my ortho to get this info and I will be in contact with them soon, yet I was screamed at through email by whomever was email. And I was told in the next email ,after I said I STILL need to get those documents for you I will give it to you soon, that " If you want to be taken seriously provide me what I am asking ". How rude can you be. This is how I know this person didn't read my email. I had to email back and refer to my previous email stating that I still need to get the documents. I was also told "Do what I asked of you" which is quite a harsh way to speak to someone who is a potential customer. Horrible Horrible customer service. Staff doesn't have to be this rude, its appalling. Staff shouldn't be this cold to potential customers. I have however found an amazing office somewhere else, the staff is amazing and kind. Kindness goes a long way.
