He is such a patient and thorough dentist and is always open on the weekend. This makes scheduling so much easier with kids and school. The staff also contact patients via email which also makes communication easier. The huge oats are very nice and when my kids were small, they would offer movies to entertain them. We don't live in Markham, in fact we live about an hour away, but make the drive anyways. He is always available for emergencies, like when my daughter fell down the stairs and knocked her teeth out. He saw them that same day and squeezed us in. He is a great dentist!

When I called initially to inquire about registering as a new patient, Chau was very nice and understanding on the phone, answering any questions I may have, and following up with me to ensure that all my insurance documents and forms will be set before my appointment. There is a New Patient Form on their website that you just have to complete before the appointment to save time. When I arrived at their office for my appointment, I immediately noticed the cleanliness and neatness of the place. There's Nintendo Wii and Xbox stations for kids, large TV, lots of seating at the waiting room, good lighting, really great set-up over-all, a very welcoming atmosphere. Just about 3 minutes after I arrive for my 10AM appointment, I was then greeted by Daisy, a dental hygienist. She asked me first of all if I have any immediate concerns with my dental health, and the main reason for my visit. I told her I do want to register, and that I have not gone to the dentist in at least 8 years.. yikes! During the comprehensive exam, before Daisy proceeded with each test, she would explain to me the process first, and what needs to be done. After showing me the results of my photos and x-rays, she gave me advice on how to maintain good dental health, and also what procedures I had to go through to fix some very few issues with my teeth. Oh, and here's the best part. There are 2 TVs in the room! One on the wall for when you're sitting up, and one on the ceiling right in front of you for when you're laying down, so you can watch TV and distract yourself during cleaning or any procedure they are doing. The whole time I was holding the remote control... nice.. well, in my opinion that distracted me and made me feel a little less crazy and distracted from all the drilling I can hear. Dr. Daniel dropped by for a few minutes, introduced himself, again made me feel comfortable and ran some quick checks as well. He has a very soothing voice and a very friendly smile, again making me feel calm. After the appointment, I was given a bag of goodies.. YAY! I have another appointment coming up in a week, and I am sure it will be as great as this one! I highly recommend ForestBrook Dental. I already convinced my husband to sign-up as well. They do take care of all the paperwork regarding insurance, and as a patient, I feel very well-informed about what needs to be done next in my dental care plan.

She's very attention to detail! My mom said for the first time, she didn't even feel a thing during the cleaning. I scheduled an appointment on OpenCare. They called me back a couple times which I unfortunately missed. I did call them multiple times to book an appointment. When I finally got through (after multiple attempts, different times during the day), the lady on the phone was aggressive, implying my fault I couldn't that when she called and couldn't reach me. Should've been the first red flag. I said I'm still interested in an appointment for cleaning and general check up. I mentioned I found them through OpenCare. Her verbatim to me, "Oh no. No OpenCare. We don't take open care. No more" I told her it shouldn't matter if I found them through OpenCare or not. I also mentioned I was interested in using insurance benefits with 100% coverage. Plus assuming they provided good services, I would come back as a long term patient. Guess they don't really understand the Customer Lifetime Value in dental practices. Who jumps through multiple dentist's anyway?! Our conversation turned short as soon as I mentioned Open Cafe. She dismissed the conversation and hung up rather quickly. The dental practitioners probably provides decent dental care.
