I used a Groupon for my first visit and it helped so much, I just keep going back! I injured my shoulder two years ago and nothing I have done has been able to help. I saw this place pop up on Groupon and figured I should give it a try. The first visit was sort of lackluster, but I knew the therapy and exercises would help if I just went back a few times. I did, and although my shoulder isn't fixed it is well on its way to recovery. I like the combo of ART and chiropractic care, combined with PT. It seems like a more holistic approach to healing injuries. The Groupon also included a massage, which was the BEST massage I have ever had. It was the perfect amount of pressure and she listened very intently! My insurance doesn't cover or discount massage, so I couldn't continue with that, but the other stuff has really helped Although Dr. Hyman is supposedly the best, Dr. Stripling has been excellent to work with. He has really helped me with exercises to rehab my shoulder, and I always feel like he listens to me, even if he doesn't always know what to make of me. My insurance was being finnicky, but Kerry at the front desk has been so helpful working with them and with me that everything has worked out perfectly. She is so friendly and even told me about an awesome place to get my hair did (because her hair is so cute, so I asked her for a recommendation) and that was the best salon experience I have also had! No complaints here. They don't want to keep you there for months and months, just long enough to give relief to the pain. I respect that a lot. I originally came here several years ago using a Groupon. I had a great massage from the Group and then a chiropractic consultation with Dr. Hyman. I hadn't been back for quite some time but this was the first place I thought of when I started having some back problems. They were able to get me in quick. Natalie at the front desk is great! I've been seeing them both for a year now and they have really taken me from being tied up in knots with lower, mid and thoracic back pain (yes, all three) to a pain free summer of golf and tennis leagues, with winter downhill skiing thrown in. Great experience here! I slept very wrong on my neck and was in more pain than I've ever experienced- and it would not go away. As a 25 yr old hairdresser, I need to be able to move and I had no idea I could mess myself up that badly just by sleeping! I was about to leave for a two week trip abroad and had to do something, I found this office on Yelp and was magically able to grab a cancelation spot that same day! The front desk is run by an absolutely delightful woman and she eased my mind over the phone. When I arrived they took X-rays before adjusting anything, and found that I had compressed a disk at the base of my neck, but not bad enough to not get adjusted THANK GOODNESS. The lovely Dr then adjusted me, had me come back two more times before I left and I am so happy to say that I enjoyed my trip PAIN FREE!! Wow this place is so professional. since moving back to Denver I have been looking for a chiropractor that can accommodate the schedule of someone who works 40 hrs a week M-F. Youd be surprised how hard this has been. i was looking through Yelp and came across Denver Chiropractic Center and put a request to schedule an appointment online on a Friday. The DOCTOR responded to me saying that the office was closed that day and someone would be getting back to me on monday. i also put in the appointment that i am really bad at responding to voicemail during office hours and to please only contact me by email and they scheduled me through email and sent me the forms to fill out for my appointment. everything was very prompt and professional and i didnt have to pick up the phone once. i was earlier for my appointment two very nice gals checked me in and shook my hand and welcomed me with a warm greeting and a smile. something so rare these days in the medical field! the office was quiet and very clean but still warm and relaxing. The dr's assistant gave me a tour of the office explained the methods they used and told me about what the dr does. the doctor was early yes you heard that right early! coming into see me. asked me about my complaints and what i want to work on and really got to know me and what my concerns were and took detailed notes. he gave me an adjustment and explained everyhting that he was doing and asked if i was ok the whole time. They took xrays and the doctor said that he would like to go over them and have me back in. there was no upselling or sales pitches. came out scheduled an appointment they really work around your schedule and what times work for you. they explained my insurance benefits and my insurance covered most of the important which was pretty cool. even if i didnt have insurance i would probably be paying for this place out of pocket. i am already excited for my next appointment and another adjustment. also i received an email after my appointment called "what to expect from your first appointment" which was really cool and a very nice touch. i am very happy with this place. i wish more places would try harder to treat all of their patients this way. my mom will probably be scheduling soon! Last year, during a long run, something happened in my foot. I went for x-rays, MRI's, to Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, Acupuncture.... Nothing worked. Then my friend recommended Dr. Hyman. He said "give it 6 tries. If it doesn't work, fire me". I was a little concerned because at session 5 my foot still hurt - a lot. But session 6 came along and I've been running ever since. I still go at least once a month when some other running or yoga soreness comes up. It's been a lifesaver to me. I love the fact that the ART is so quick I can even bring my young kids with me! This is not a reflection of their product just their service. Bought a Groupon for a 1 hour massage - tried to call to set up an appointment, only got a recorded message to leave a voicemail. Left a message and got a call back 4 days later. They only offered massages before 5 PM and not on weekends (seems like a good setup to not have everyone redeem on their Groupon). I race motocross professionally, both locally in Denver and on the national level. In 2007 I shattered my radial head in my elbow. When 2011 began I had been through two surgeries and, despite still racing and improving, was in a lot of pain. My elbow has been through so much trauma that the slightest pull or strain would force me to take 3 weeks to a month off. In motocross that much time off can hurt a career, especially when it happens often. I began seeing Dr. Jeff Stripling at the Denver Chiropractic Center in March of 2011. He has helped me get my strength back and, with the help of A.R.T. therapy, decreased the time a strain takes me out to less than a week. I have never felt better physically and I can honestly say that the credit is 100% due to Dr. Stripling and the Denver Chiropractic Center.
