I highly recommend Dr. Sturm! I have suffered with endometriosis for the last few years, and over the last two years it has significantly progressed. It was ruining my quality of life, missing tons of work, stuck in bed for days in excruciating pain, missing out on a social life, trips to the ER. It was taking over my life! I was having some degree of pain everyday for months and months at a time. I've had to make trips to the ER on several occasions so they could help stop the pain, it literally felt like someone was constantly stabbing me in the abdomen. I was prescribed Vicodin, which was horrible for me, but sometimes was the only thing that would help numb the pain. I would have to take multiple doses before I had any relief., I felt like my life was over! The last ER trip in March, it took 4 doses of their strongest pain medication and finally a dose of anti inflammatory to numb the pain, and before that trip I was given morphine, which made me very sick. It was a nightmare, and after struggling with this for so long, and almost losing my job because I was missing so much work, I decided to schedule a hysterectomy. I was terrified. That felt like my only option and I was crushed. I am 40 years old, and thinking of all the side effects I could face was devastating. By miracle, my manager at work stumbled onto the Frankenhauser Treatment while she was searching for medical supplies for work. After doing some more research I found Denver Holistic Medicine. After receiving 3 injections over a 3 week span I was feeling better. Soon after I started feeling pain again, so I came in during a time when I was having a lot of pain and Dr. Sturm gave me the Frankenhauser injection. I was in horrible pain for about a day after the injection, but after that I was completely pain free! I couldn't believe it. The pain was gone! It lasted for a couple months, and now I am getting these injections when needed to be proactive. I am happy to say, as of now, I was able to cancel my surgery and avoid having my uterus removed! I couldn't be more pleased and hopeful. I highly recommend this treatment for endometriosis, which has no cure. It has given me my life back. I am able to do things I love, like hiking and working on my yard, etc. My belly was always puffed out from being so inflamed, but now I feel skinny again! I do have some pain during the time i'm menstruating, and that's when I usually get another injection if the pain feels like it could get really bad and it helps knock the pain out within 24 hours! This has been such a long and crazy journey, but I am so happy that I have a holistic option to manage this pain. I haven't needed opioids, or to visit the ER, or even my OBGYN that was going to do my hysterectomy, for months and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr. Sturm! I was really looking forward to my appointment here. From the reviews, I was under the impression that it would a really wonderful experience. I will say, Molly, the new receptionist is exceptional though. During the appointment, I expressed the anxiety I'm feeling and had to dig for help. I asked for suggestions and recommendations, since I am fairly new to the city. I was given two recommendations with nothing more than two business cards. To really sum it up, I felt like the provider, Erin, just didn't care. I am fairly seasoned with an education in science and a father in medicine. I was asked only a few questions, a breast exam was done and a lab sheet with the requested tests were given to me. The practitioner acted as though she really didn't care to have me as a patient. Not really sure what the "wellness check up" was supposed to include as I never got a straight answer. The provider didn't ask me any questions to get to know my health, I had to dig in order to get some labs ordered. As I'm getting older and want kids in a few years I want to make sure Im in optimal health. While I checked out of my appointment, I inquired about the "flu vaccine alternative" and with a short dismissive answer, "you have to ask for it" and not much information about it, I left the office wondering if I was even wanted to come back. Do not go to the clinic for any kind of help- all they do is rip you off. They keep your cards on file and charge you whatever they want for testing, supplements, herbs, services, etc. Its unbelievable how much some of the simplest items cost. They also tell you that a service is one thing and then charge you a completely different price! They are in the customer service business but both the doctor and the front office staff are rude and unprofessional. Go over to google.com and read the 1 star reviews. Dr. Simone and Jessica have quickly become more than just my healthcare team over the last year and a half. They take time and energy to remember and ask about the little things; the weekend plans I may have mentioned under my breath, the new job, that first marriage counseling session and how I'm "feeling about all that". Add their new electronic charting/scheduling system to the mix and you've got yourself an efficient, productive, and thoughtful practice! I would caution anyone from going here. I explicitly asked (and documented it all via email) the front desk/administration to help me check if acupuncture was covered under my insurance. She took all of my insurance information and told me she would contact them to confirm my coverage. She then told me it was completely covered for me and all I needed to pay was $25 per session. I listened to her and booked a couple appointments, only to later receive a large bill from Denver Holistic. read more

I LOVE Dr. Sturm. I saw her today for the first time and she is amazing! She spent over an hour listening to me and talking to me and really explaining things. She seems as determined as I am to get to the root of my issues and that makes me very happy. The first doctor that has actually listened to me and hasn't tried prescribing pills or anything! I am very pleased with her so far and can't wait to see what my results show. Her receptionist Has also been very sweet to me from the very beginning and has listened to me ramble on about everything I needed to vent about haha!
