It wasn't until after they got it home they realized it appeared used - scratched up and dusty. They had to load it back up for a return visit. The store workers didn't care, just took the return. Then we had to call back to the store to remind them to refund their deposit. Crappy thing to do to any customer, let alone the elderly.

After having an awkward experience with sales people at this location and a terrible time getting a…read morenon-damaged (very expensive) sectional, I am feeling obligated to write this review. In 2021 we were in looking for a sectional for our newly built home that would be finished in a few months. When we went into the store to purchase, we had been told our sales person was no longer with the store but another salesperson could help us. I was stunned as I was JUST in email contact with the sales person hours before. It was an awkward encounter and the sales person in front of us ignored my flabbergasted look. It seemed like everyone at the place was looking at us and talking about us. We were treated like we were peasants who knew nothing. We ended up not getting some features on the couch even though we thought we had ordered them but we weren't going to complain. We got the couch ordered and left, still feeling stunned and like we had cost someone their job. I truly can't explain the feeling in the store that day or how short and inconvenienced our sales person acted for helping us. We didn't care, we were getting our dream leather sectional! When the couch came in, we had them keep it in their warehouse until all of the pieces came in (it was a sectional and delivery times were still delayed from Covid). The sales person called my husband one day and asked if they could schedule delivery (even though they were still waiting on one piece to come in). We decided to wait for the last piece. They then asked if we wanted to pay our remaining balance so when we called to set up delivery that would already be taken care of. It didn't matter to us so my husband asked about the current financing offers. We were going to utilize their 0% financing. The current offer according to our sales person was 12 months 0% financing. My husband specifically asked for 72 months but was told they did not have that. My husband asked again and the sales person assured him that the best he could get was 12 months. Hours later both of us got an email advertisement from La-Z-Boy stating to come shop with 72 months 0% financing. Our sales person lied. My husband called and tried to get it changed but was told he couldn't even though he had not yet signed the agreement (it was set up for him to come sign in person in the store the next day). This is where the frustration begins to build. When they brought our first couch and left us with a broken couch, we didn't complain. In fact, we waited very patiently as they made us claim the broken couch on our warranty (even though it was broken en route to our place). They sent a very nice man out to help us. He was very apologetic and gave us great service (I would give him 5 stars!). Once he couldn't fix the couch (and 2 personal days off of work later) they ordered us a new one. The day this couch was going to be delivered (and a 3rd personal day off work later) we got a message from the driver that the piece was damaged. There was a large rip in the leather. We appreciated the driver letting us know and he took it back to the warehouse. My husband then contacted our sales person to see what was next. At this point we are just jaded. We just finally got the third attempt delivered and there's a rip in the fabric AGAIN. I truly couldn't believe it when my husband told me. So here we are, almost a year later from our initial delivery and we still haven't gotten to enjoy a non-damaged couch. There are other pieces that have been damaged since and we don't even want to claim since the 3 damaged pieces so far they have made us claim on our warranty and we don't want to have to deal with our bully sales person any longer. We feel like a pain but just want a couch that isn't damaged. We love La-Z-Boy and usually find them worth the price. This experience, however, we could have done without. I've come to the realization this one will never not be damaged. Next order I will definitely be doing through a different location. All of the manufactured furniture was glued, stapled And expensive. Went to oak creations and had furniture made out of solid hard wood with dove tail joints inlayed drawer bottoms made od solid wood (Not pressed cardboard). And it was a few dollars cheaper. I still order from them Today. Just ordered 2 dressers for my grand son and grand daughter. He is 2 and the new one he had fell apart. There is no comparison in quality for your money.

Thinking it was just the cushion, I took the seat cushion to an upholstery shop for them to replace the foam. When it was done, I picked the chair up and they returned the foam taken out of the seat cushion. The foam was very yellow and I asked about it. I was told the foam was very old that was used to fill the seat cushion, but the changing of the foam didn't solve the problem. The base of the chair has a cut out that has a white insert over the oval hole in the seat. The cut out hits my bum right where the sciatic nerve endings cross and run down the leg. Who in their right mind would cut a round hole in the seat? I never thought to look under the cushion at the seat! This $900 rocking chair is the worse chair I have ever owned!!!! I have yet to find the fix for this mind boggling, horrible chair! Save your money and buy something ergonomic!

Our first stop was Baldy's Furniture in Wauseon, OH. We were greeted when we walked in, allowed to explore the store with no pressure. While we tried different mattresses, a salesman checked on us, not too often, not too little, then when we made out decision, our salesman was nearby, easy to find and we completed our transaction. We had the mattress delivered a few days later. On the day morning the mattress was to be delivered, I received a call that they were short a deliveryman, so my mattress would be delivered in the afternoon. The caller was relieved I was not upset, (I know things happen), and apologetic. Early that afternoon, I received a call they were on their way and would be there in half an hour. They were right on time. Good Customer Service, GOOD communication, good quality furniture and a very fair price. I HIGHLY recommend Baldy's Furniture!

I actually went into this location on three separate occasions throughout year because I was ambivalent on which mattress I wanted. Both were somewhat similar in comfort and price but when I asked questions I was kind of off put with the sales guys on the floor. One was an older guy who you could tell didn't want to be there and was noticeably annoyed when we asked questions. The other guy was younger, didn't bother to greet us and was more concerned with his smoke break than assisting us. I decided to give them on last chance and that's when I met Zach. When I visited the place was busy. On my other visits there were no other customer in the store. There was a family of five when I first entered the store and was immediately greeted by Zach, even though he was assisting someone else. I went to visit the two mattresses I had been contemplating for months and decided to lay on them to refresh my memory on their individual comfort levels. Zach immediately apologized for the wait and asked me what was important and what I expected out of a mattress. He then made recommendations and evaluated how each mattress supported my body to ensure I was getting the most comfort. Not only did he take his time with me, he answered my questions and didn't make me feel like a number. I thought I knew what I wanted before I initially went in and ultimately walked out with a completely different mattress and base. The best part? Not only was it a better mattress but also a better price! Thanks for taking you time to answer my questions and make sure I was getting the best mattress for my needs, Zach! I'm really glad I gave them one last chance before going elsewhere!
