Review - My experience at Denver Mattress, Wichita, KS was one of exceptional customer service from the minute I walked in the door to the delivery, and all follow-up questions or concerns. My sales associate, David Craft is amazing and should be commended for his knowledge, patience, and honesty. I purchased a bed that had originally came damaged, actually twice. It was clear that something had occurred in the warehouse and Dusty, the manager, assured me that he would take care of this and would do so when it was convenient for me and also inspect any replacement bed before the next delivery. In the interim, I realized that the bed I had purchased wasn't really the right bed for me. I went back into the store to speak with David about new options and the time he took with me vetting out the new bed, the knowledge he demonstrated in explaining to me the features and pros and cons based on my needs, and the entire customer service/sales experience was AMAZING. When I explained my concerns, needs, and wishes, there was never a time that David forgot exactly what I required in a new bed. His honesty is what up sold me to a new Tempur-pedic with NuFlex Adjustable base. During my stay (and I spent a great deal of time in the store and multiple visits) David Craft and Michelle Deppe worked extremely hard to ensure the return of the bed that did not work out, and Michelle did a lot of verifying and follow-up to ensure the new mattress would work on the adjustable base I picked out. Further, Michelle, being an owner of a Tempur-pedic, was able to provide me with a lot of tips and great information that new memory foam bed customers should have to make sure they transition successfully. It is a change. The addition of the new sheets, mattress protector, and most amazing pillows make the deal the very best experience and best money I have spent. The delivery staff were just as incredible. Chase and Joe did an amazing job of ensuring my animals were safe, packaging up the returning mattress set, and then setting up the new adjustable bed. They took some time to ensure I was familiar with its operation, and parts and accessories that came with it. Both are very knowledgable and friendly. Most delivery personnel just deliver and leave but Chase and Joe ensured that I was setup correctly and had all the knowledge in case of power outage, battery backup, and headboard parts that came with the bed. You can have the best products in the world or the nicest of showrooms, but it is the people, David Craft, Michelle Deppe, Chase, and Joe that I interacted with that make the deal. I am an extreme customer service critic and have years of experience dealing with high-end customers, and this experience was so above the bar and whatever they make is not enough. I have bought two bed sets, pillows, mattress covers, and I will continue to be a loyal Denver Mattress customer. read more

eight months ago we purchased a Doctor's choice mattress. We are retired couple. Spent 800.00 for the mattress on sale. It is a piece of junk. It had no support. Lie down and you sink in. Really hard on your back and legs. Will never buy another one . Salesman is no longer there . Really unhappy. read more

My husband went there last Monday to buy a Purple Twin XL bed. That was 11-18-19. The guy who waited on him said he was in training but he could handle it. Ray was his name. Anyway he ordered the bed & said it would be coming from Denver CO so it would take 1-2 weeks before it would arrive here & that he would call my husband when it came into the store here. Five days later on Friday I called the store & heard from someone else that it was in! No one had called us to say that. Now we're waiting for another call to set up delivery. This is very poor customer service & we don't have any faith they'll call us. If you buy a bed from them be sure & get the name of whoever helps you! read more

We haven't purchased our mattress yet but believe you me, we are very excited to go back tonight and purchase a Doctor's Choice from them. We were at the store two nights ago and the service we recieved was extraordinary. The gentleman who helped us was so friendly and answered every question we had! He assessed our current sleeping habbits and showed us beds that he recommended plus showed us anything else we were interested in! Great great great experiene and I would definately recommend at least walking in and getting the full experience of what bed shopping should be like!! read more

Wow ... I have had the best customer service at this store. They are very patient, not at all pushy and seem to really enjoy working with the public. Michelle went out of her way to make sure I was happy with everything. Including exchanging the mattress' after I got them home et didn't like the size. Store personal were helpful and got what I needed and rang up quickly, the delivery guys were careful and on time, however the bed frame was not level and when I pointed it out, he told me that was just how it was. When I pulled up one of the lift sides they had placed the bed frame on the air tube for the mattress crushing it. You would have thought they would have looked under it instead of just saying that's how it is. Wasn't impressed with that part. read more

By far the best customer service ever. In 2004 I purchased a mattress from Denver Mattress in Wichita, KS. It was the second best mattress they offer, and have been pleased with it. This past Saturday whiled getting out of bed something scratched my leg and I noticed there was a spring that had broken and was poking out the side of the bed. I called Denver Mattress and the manager looked up my purchase and told me that my bed was still under warranty and if I would bring it in they would make it right. I was told they no longer manufacture the type of mattress I had (double pillow top) and they would give me a comparable model. So on Tuesday I took my mattress back to the store and the person I had talked to on Saturday was off on Tuesday. The staff was very helpful as I explained my trouble. I was told I would have to wait for the store manager to finish with a customer because he was the only one who could do exchanges. The manager finished with his customer and asked how he could help me. I told him what the other manager had told me on the phone and he agreed no questions asked. He offered me a store credit for the amount I paid in 2004 or I could get a replacement. I opted for just the replacement. There was however a $50.00 difference in price, but was told I would not have to pay any additional. After the manager spent about 10 minutes filling out paper work, he gave my a new receipt and told me to go to the loading dock to exchange my mattress. Never did anyone ever look at my old mattress to see if there was even anything wrong with it, they just took the customers word. After 8 years and no receipt Denver Mattress gave me full exchange on a bed sight unseen, but rather taking the customers word. The manager told me that their goal is to have 100% customer satisfaction. I know that Denver Mattress will get all of my future business. read more

Customer Service wasn't the greatest, very pushy and came off as rude. Don't think ill be buying from there again.

I had the best buying experience with Michelle at Denver Mattress. I'd been shopping around for a few months, and always off put by the sleezy salesmen who assumed my needs and would decide which mattresses I should consider and only show me those (they'd only show me 2-3 mattresses and when I'd ask about others they would steer me back). But Michelle was great! She started at the bottom of the price scale and worked her way up, showing me everything, helping me compare the items, giving me good honest opinions. Was not pushy or try any sales tactics on me. I was extremely happy with her service that I decided I would buy from her- even went up $300 in my budget because she was willing to show me something outside my budget that she though I'd like (you know, because she listened to my needs as opposed to assuming them like the other stores would). A family friend is in the market for a new mattress and I have encouraged her to shop Denver Mattress and ask for Michelle! read more
