The employees at the front desk were rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly. Today, I waited for around 15 minutes while one employee kept looking at her computer and another was on the phone. Even when I finally asked for assistance, the response and attitude were not welcoming or professional. As a city community center that serves families and residents, I believe staff should be respectful, cooperative, and willing to help people with basic questions. Instead, I left feeling upset and disappointed by how we were treated. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service for families visiting the center.

I actually choose not to write this review after she officially signed her contract, because I wanted to see how things worked out. Vincent has not stopped being great. He has gone above and beyond several times, included checking in with us to see how we were doing as parents while she was at boot camp. My wife and I both highly recommend working with Vincent from this office even 2 months after our daughter has entered the Coast Guard.

I parked in Royal Oak downtown and my wife and I attempted to use their app to pay for parking…read more This is the only way to pay for parking downtown, can't even use a credit card on the meter which most have nowadays if they don't have a coin slot. When my wife tried to pay, the app told her that parking was "free". So we went along with our lives assuming we were fine. A couple weeks later, I get a letter saying that I owe the city $2.75 for parking. It's not a lot, so I just decided to pay it. That's what I would've paid in the first place. But today, I just got another bill in the mail for a grand total of $17.25?!?! And it ends up being more like $20 with fees and crap. Literally makes me never want to park on the streets of downtown ever again. Should've parked in a parking structure and walked the extra 10 minutes to downtown. Royal Oak needs to fix their shitty ass parking meters. The next time I get a ticket from them, I will be protesting it.

The location and hours are convenient for me. Sometimes the lines lag, but that's typical of any post office, especially during rush seasons.
