They sent a very professional estimator out to our house quickly to meet us and talk about the services they provide. They broke the price down based on the different paint products available and even offered quotes to replace some damage on our house. We found their prices to be comparable to other painters we got estimates from and were able to choose the kind of paint that gave us the best cost vs effectiveness balance which was nice because some painters are limited to one line of products available. Much to our surprise they called and said that they had availability much sooner than they originally thought and were able to come out the next day to begin painting. After a full day of very thorough prep work they had a crew large enough to paint all of the body in one day and trimmed out the next. The final paint job looks AMAZING! I was so impressed that they came back at a time that was convenient for me to walk the house and discuss any issues that I noticed. Vivax door-to-door salespeople have been by my house twice now, totally ignoring my "no soliciting" sign. This year, I acted interested and let them give me a quote even though I NEVER buy from companies that don't respect my privacy. What I didn't bank on was how truly desperate they are for work, because they have been calling, texting and emailing me for months now. Their pushy sales folks obviously work on commission and won't leave you alone once they have your contact info. I got another quote from local painters I've used before, and it is thousands of dollars less than Vivax, so I'll be hiring that other company next spring.
