Vivax Pros just finished repairing and painting our house and we are very happy. The level of communication, quality of work, and timeliness of the job were all quite satisfactory. We recommend Vivax Pros and would use them again ourselves. We needed quite a bit of wood siding and trim replaced due to rot, and a big advantage of this company is that they handle all of that. The initial quote was very thorough, but another walk through with the Carpentry coordinator ensured we found all the damaged wood. Wood replacement took less than a day. The paint crew was also very professional - a team of 3-4 folks painted our large house over the course of 3 days. They were friendly, exceptionally clean, and were as low profile as they could be. Each evening, they cleaned up and neatly stored any ladders and equipment. After the painting was complete, the project coordinator walked around the house with me as we found any imperfections or touch-ups needed and a smaller crew from the original paint team corrected the minor issues over the course of an hour right then. As a new first time homeowner, the process seemed daunting, but Vivax was there with me through it all. Although just completed this month, this project was a year in the making! For some reason my account shows San Francisco, CA, but this review is for Vivax Pros and a paint job on my home in Denver metro area... Brian's crew was very professional, efficient, and courteous. They were careful in how they masked off features. They communicated their timeline well and Brian worked with me and my schedule in advance so that I could plan and accommodate their needs (i.e., being home so they could mask off the threshold and around the frame of my front door). The crew is experienced and work as a team. They have their own roles and are masters of their craft. I was amazed at the efficiency and speed with which they worked. We had a very pleasant experience with Vivax. It started with the young man who came to our door 2 months ago asking if we were thinking about painting our house. We had been thinking about it for years, but between the cost and my inability to choose a color, we just keep putting it off. we had been kicking around the idea of painting the house when we happened to hear about Vivax Pros. We scheduled an initial consultation and it went from there. They were a very low pressure sales, which I was thankful for, and were very clear and transparent about the cost and services they could offer. I needed to wait several months before I could paint, and they had no issues with this at all. they had in-house woodworking and house power washers, which meant all I had to do was confirm dates. The painters themselves were great. It was a team of four or five and I can't believe how quickly they knocked it out. All of the windows and other items were well taped, and draped. And all of the caulking was done perfectly. after the painting, I had a very detailed walk-through and discussion of their warranty and how I could call them back for touchups if needed at no cost. we are very happy with the level of service we received for the competitive price, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone on the fence about painting their house. It started with a thorough walkthrough with Patrick, who clearly knew his stuff. Instead of glossing over the work, he explained their whole prep process up front -- caulking the seams, cracks, and nail heads, priming the bottom boards, scraping any loose or peeling paint, tapping in popped nails, and matching stucco texture on patched areas. The crew of about five started on the Monday we'd planned, worked full days, and knocked it out over consecutive days rather than dragging it across weeks. They were tidy and careful around doors, windows, light fixtures, and our landscaping. The part that really earned the five stars: at the final walkthrough we got picky and flagged a handful of small imperfections. Hunter Stokes' team was in and out in 2 days with a final walk through the following day. Of particular concern for our project was the quality of the existing trim. The team spent quite a bit of time on the trim detail. The outcome is outstanding. The main body of the house is also extremely well covered. We hired Vivax to paint our house--it is a very large custom home. They did a beautiful job getting every detail just right and there were lots of details! We also put them through the ringer a bit changing our mind about one of the colors half way through.
