The main takeaway from this place is that most of the records are in G condition , some even trashed. Most record stores have a quality standard of atleast VG at minimum. Every record I picked up had surface scratches or something crazy wrong with it. I picked up a cover to a record that had math all over it from a game of spades. Why the hell would something like that be on the shelf? Nothing is priced. You have to build a stack, take it to the counter, and let the owner price it then. He looks up each individual record on Discogs then charges double or triple the value of the record. Also if you have an issue with a record, there are NO REFUNDS / EXCHANGES. Positives are that it's ducked off in a private location, and it's mildly organized. Prices are not outrageously expensive like FantasyLand or Criminal. This place is honestly great everyone here helps you when you need and also there very nice.There record selection is amazing and it's full on every selection and also there all pretty good deals with knowing how expensive records are on Amazon and in other place I was able to walk out with three records only 75$ and also I found a credence Clearwater live album there for 15$.This would be 5 stars if it wasn't so cramped in there I get it owning a business is difficult and it's hard to expand and renovate because it's costly and I get it the location it's in can be pretty difficult but that's literally the only thing and I'm not mad at them because I get it it's just cramped and I really think it's the way things are put and organized in there other than that the perfect record store and would 100% recommend. read more

I was in Lilburn today to get my hair done. Haven't been vinyl shopping that much in a while. It's Saturday so I have all the time in the world to find a shop to check out. Ahhh. Depot Records shows up. Drove an additional 10 miles to see what's in store. Tons and TONS of vinyls. Vinyl-land I guess. Not too organized in my opinion. Also not enough r&b vinyls. They also have a section full of 45s. Come here to dig and spend a little extra time. read more

There is no order to the records, and I was almost discouraged. However, the customer service and the variety is amazing. It actually becomes an adventure to see what you find. Don't worry, if you are looking for something specific, chances are they'll know of they have it. My niece wanted a Grease vinyl and when she found it she was so excited - but when she found out the price, her day, even week, was made! This is a great place to go and explore and find albums you probably didn't even know you wanted. And the prices are unbeatable. read more

Friendly record store in a Central Gwinnett location. Has become more organized over the last year. Quality of the used records is often too sketchy, especially considering the generally higher prices. The price may be around the average Discogs value, even if the record cover and/or vinyl is all beat up. Even so, we visit every two weeks. Today we came home with 5 LPs & 3 Double LPs, totalling $100. The same records in Mint condition would cost around $250, so we like to buy the used records that are in VG+ condition. We spend about 90 minutes per visit, mostly in the convenient "Just In" bins and the various genres, carefully checking the quality of each record and researching the titles for critical information. You can try out a used record on their player at the front, near the register. They do need to purge everything lower than a VG+, and get rid of the 50 copies of Loggins & Messina, ha! We recommend Depot Records as part of a well-rounded regular diet of record stores. And they have lots of other stuff too. read more
