will always be such a welcoming environment, i hate that the alarms kept going off for me though (thought it may be my massive keychain in my bag? who knows? it kept going off each time i came in ) but during the time i went it was super quiet and not too crowded, everyone sort of kept to themselves which was nice. i found a few things, had an incredibly sweet employee help me out. i swear one of the requirements to working there is that you have to be attractive since each time i go there's always pretty people working there! definitely going back soon read more

This is my favorite store at the Sugarloaf Mills...It caters mainly to pop culture, movies, TV, anime, Marvel and dorks like myself who got nothing else to do with their money but spend $100 on Game of Thrones merchandise! This store has a little of everything. Board Games, Funko pops, Keanu Reeves action figures (let see how many times I can mention Keanu in my reviews) Snoopy socks, merchandise featuring "The Chris Triumvirate" which for those living under a rock is Chris Pine (Captain Kirk) Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Chris Evans (Captain America). They also have hilarious t-shirt with things you wish you could say without getting beat up. The employees here are a lot of fun to talk to...definitely worth visiting if you like Hot Topic or a Marvel fan... read more

Walked in and felt rushed. As soon as we walked in, someone who worked there, let us know that they were about to close. There was 15 minutes left for closing. I didn't want to purchase anything, because I didn't want to make a rushed decision. I asked if they had any Golden Girls cereal, and the worker said that he'd never heard of them making any GG cereal. The store is clean and organized. There are items in here that really stand out, like Japanese snack items or nostalgic candy. Items here are overpriced, but if they had the Golden Girls cereal, I wouldn't have minded. They have figurines, bobbleheads, shirts, candy, collectors items, etc. I may be back one day. Maybe when they have the next rotation of the GG cereal. read more

This place had a good amount of dvds, cds, old school records, games, and odd knick knacks. The sale on their used dvds were pretty good: buy 1 & get 2 or buy 2 & get 1. I can't remember exactly since I've been shopping all day. lol. I think it's the first option. These sales come and go, but it's an overall good sale and movie selection. If you aim for the AMC theater, you're in the correct neighborhood. read more

This store has an excellent selection of music, movies, memorabilia and trinket items. My problem with this store is with their vinyl section. This is one of the only stores I have ever seen that shrink wraps their *used* vinyl. You cannot open the vinyl to inspect it until after purchase. The employee did say they would refund your money if it was defective after opening it, but any dedicated vinyl collector is going to want to inspect the album, jacket, insert, etc. before purchase. To do it after a sale and then have to go through the hassle of a return is ridiculous. On top of that, their prices are way out of line for fairly common records. I would only come here for vinyl if I was looking for a new item. read more

I always loved this store, has merch and lots of cute little things to buy and collect. Me and my friend stopped by here to shop and I saw an adorable Pusheen cat backpack. Before buying it we decided to check out another store close by that also sells plushies and Pusheen items. I still walked around the store with the Pusheen though and while looking at some other backpacks, I noticed the two employees to our right behind the counter, staring at us. I looked away for a bit and looked back and they would NOT take their eyes off us. I put the Pusheen down and we were about to walk out to head to the other store and I looked back and one employee was still staring at us hard. I was annoyed and walked towards her pretending I was looking at some stuff in front of her to show her I was not scared nor intimidated because I had nothing to hide. She stood there just watching. We then left and went to the other store. They had the same Pusheen backpack and asked for the price and figured FYE would be cheaper. We headed back to FYE, grabbed the Pusheen and walked towards the counter to ask the price. Before we even made it there, one of the employees that had stared at us earlier said, "Just so you know, that backpack costs $40." We were surprised at the price and turned around and put it back on the display because the store we had just gone to had it for a little cheaper. That's when I realized, the employee had told us the price because they thought we couldn't afford it. I'm not one to jump to the conclusion that someone is being prejudice, but it really seemed like that's what these employees were doing. We could definitely afford this backpack but I prefer to spend less if possible. I have never had an experience where an employee blatantly stares at a customer to make sure they're not stealing. I've worked in retail so I know it's their job but you can do it inconspicuously. I don't like pulling the race card but this experience was definitely new and shocking. read more

A BIT OF RANDOMNESS! I was so surprised to see that this store is still in business as the North Point was recently closed. They are few and far between but this one still has a few items of interest. Along with the expected items, (vinyl records, CDs, logo tees for adults and children), there were also some random items that really left me puzzled. They had pants, scarves, Asian snacks and even toys. It is as if they threw the random items in the mix so that the store would not look empty. However, it was a bit puzzling and drew attention to an almost empty store. If you are still purchasing your music from stores and like finding a bargain, I invite you to check out the sales and randomness at Fye's. read more

I went to this crappy mall just to go to this store. 7:30 on a Monday and their gate was down. Lights on, nobody home. No explanation. I walked by about an hour later, same thing. Pretty crappy. read more

I emailed the FYE corporate office and one of the managers got back with me and told me the store was supposed to honor the sale price, they contacted the store and informed them when I would be in to be refunded the difference, they also instructed them to honor such sale tags.Went back to the store and received my refund. The corporate office worked quickly to resolve this issue. I am very happy that they did. read more

Once again, FYE has proven to be rude and discourteous. Not sure why we went into the Sugarloaf Mills FYE after being brushed off by Julien the last time as he refused to simply look up if they had a title on blu-ray. Regardless, we went in that I was going to take advantage of the buy two, get one for a dollar. They had the dvd wrongly marked as blu-ray and I mistakenly bought it. When I brought it back to exchange it, the manager Dave and Julien both acted like I was in the wrong and argued with me. They kept me in there knowing I had a wife and baby waiting for me outside. If I could rate FYE, zero stars would be a perfect rating. read more

I do not recommend shopping here. The employees are extremely rude to customers! My fiance and I collect Funko Pop Figures. But we are very casual, out-of-box, collectors. We don't spend ridiculous amounts of money for rare figures and we love finding good deals, which is why we like F.y.e. They run a killer deal on clearance figures. We have been to several locations recently between GA, FL, and AL and have had great experiences. They usually don't mark their clearance figures, so in order to find out which ones are you just have to have them price checked. At every Fye we went to there were always a good amount on clearance, you just have to take the time to dig and guess. The middle-aged man with glasses and a mustache working there is very very mean to collectors. I found out that him and the other employees buy any of the rare/exclusive figures and resell them to make a profit (at 2x-3x the retail amount). I was very nice to him and just asked if he could check the price on 2 figures and he snapped back a price without even checking and said they had no clearances (which I know is not true). He was rude to my fiance when he asked him a question as well. And this was not the first time. When all Fye stores were supposed to get a exclusive, my fiance made the 50 min drive up there to see if he could find one. The same guy yelled at him that they didn't get any, while there were 3 behind the counter marked for employees. Another mall employee said that another time that fye was supposed to get a exclusive it drew a crowd that lined up for the opening and he came out and cursed at them and told them that "We don't F@$%ing have anything". How is this allowed??? I emailed the company about my experience and I have not heard anything yet. I was planning on buying 3 figures today at full price, just because I really liked them, but because of the way he treated me I put everything back and left. I went to BAM in the same mall and bought figures from them instead and they were so much nicer and helpful! I will never support this fye again until that man is fired and their employees are not allowed to buy all the stock (I get allowing them each one of anything rare, but not everything they have). I work in the service industry so customer service is big with me, and I also worked retail, and we as employees were not allowed to hold merch for ourselves that was limited (i.e. black friday deals, or rare items, etc). I just can't believe a company would stand for this because I am sure I can not be the first person to complain. read more
