A little tough to find the first time but we love the new set up. Dr. Tony is great and really gives great advice to new parents on the different stages of our son's growth. Our son isn't a big fan of shots but he has gotten better thanks to the nurses and doctors here. Their approach and care for their patients seems to be top priority here. So glad we've had a great office for our son this whole time.

The resident dr was great, patient and listened to our concerns. Our major complaint is with the attending Dr. He was an Asian Indian dr and we did not catch his name. He had very poor bedside manner. Rude, did not introduce himself or listen to our concerns. When he came in he was abrupt and very rough with our 6 year old son. After he aggressively poked and prodded our son's face and mouth, our son's gums were bleeding and you could tell that our son was in more pain than when we arrived. Sure, we got antibiotics but not without paying a price of a rude unprofessional dr that made us feel like we were bad parents for dental issues that were out of our control and a even more swollen and now bleeding mouth. Thank GOODNESS we are not from the area but if we do have a minor emergency again when in town, we will NEVER come back to this place and will make sure friends and family do not go to this place. Find a real attending doctor or give some PD on bedside manner and approach when dealing with a child. WE ONLY CHOSE THIS PLACE BECAUSE WE FIGURED THE DOCTORS KNEW HOW TO DEAL WITH CHILDREN! I very rarely have to wait more than five or 10 minutes to be taken care of. They have a parking lot so you do not have to park on the street. The office is clean. Now I have an underlying infection and the skin is awful. I literally walked out of an appointment with my general practitioner's office and drove to WellNow in Orchard Park. As soon as I walked in, Sue at the desk was professional, kind, and listened. She got me set and showed me to a room. I wish I'd gotten the name of the medical staff member who came in next to get the basics and ask questions. She was also kind and listened and noted everything. I then saw Kyle Violanti, a PA. Kyle asked if I'd be okay with him consulting a dermatologist friend. I said please do. This is how medicine should be. It's okay to not know everything - you should be willing to consult and help the patient. I left with a diagnosis, prescriptions, and his dermatologist friend's office info to do a follow up. The staff at this WellNow listened and cared more today than my GP's office has in the months I've been dealing with them. I've also learned the steroids they prescribed made it worse. I could hug the whole WellNow staff.

The doctors and nurses here have always been incredibly good to me, for whatever reason I find myself in their office. Just recently I visited because of a severely sore throat; fearing strep I gave a call and they were able to see me that afternoon. When I arrived, I'll admit I was a bit of an emotional wreck because of how awful I was feeling, but their services reassured me that I'd end up being alright. The doctor and nurse who aided me were incredibly nice and understanding, as well as accommodating. In the past I've come here when I broke my pinky finger, and after I'd sprained my ankle really bad, which they always recommend before being sent to the emergency room/immediate care (unless there's a legitimate emergency - like when I'd been hit by a car). Both those times the doctors had given me excellent advice to help me back on my feet in no time. I've also gotten flu shots, immunizations and basic check-ups; they basically provide you with everything you need here. This place has gone under a couple of renovations since I was small, but the offices are incredibly nice and very clean. It's easy to be comfortable here, which is ideal in a place you can find yourself starting to feel a little nervous. I would definitely suggest this office, especially families with small children.

When we were late for our first few appointments (we were new parents, had little sleep, and were getting used to the idea that it takes an hour to get out of the house) they didn't make us feel bad, or feel that we were wasting their time- they were understanding. I had a lot of trouble breastfeeding, but they were supportive. I broke down several times in their office, crying hysterically, and the nursing staff were all kind and supportive, giving me words of encouragement. The doctors are very down to earth, and just care that your baby is doing well- doesn't matter how fast or slow they are progressing, and they don't make you panicked, telling you what your baby should or should not be doing at any point. They just tell you how great you're doing/how great your kid is doing- they are very encouraging. The BEST thing about them is they will NOT take you if you refuse to vaccinate your child! Otherwise, they will take any insurance, etc- they just want to make sure the children that go to their office are safe. I cannot say what a relief that was to see that policy. Also, they have a 'sick' and 'healthy' section of the waiting room, so no germs are crossed over- same for the rooms. The whole office is separated in two- with the right side for the sick, and the left side for the healthy. I just adore these doctors.

Dr. Calkins is realistic and gives sound advice on many topics. She is not one to get in a tissy over small things. She accepts that some kids are smaller and some kids are bigger. The office has always answered my urgent calls if I need to call in for a medical question after hours. They also squeeze me into the first available appointment if my kids are sick. They are great to the kids and my kids feel comfortable heading to the doctor's office. I have recommended their office to lots of friends.

This office is run by an elderly doctor who should consider retirement and let the next group of you professional doctors step in. I would never ever recommend this office due to the terrible experience with the staff. Go someplace where there are several doctors to treat your child instead of a sole practice who has limited hours and availability. Larger practices have early morning appointments, late hours, can take calls during lunch and have Saturday hours.

Cassie, who took my vitals, symptoms, and health history, was one of the kindest and most caring people I've encountered in a healthcare setting. She truly listened, was gentle, and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Phil was just as wonderful. He was welcoming, patient, and genuinely attentive, and I never felt rushed. I made my appointment online the night before, and the moment I walked in I was taken straight back. I didn't even sit in the waiting room for a minute, which has never happened to me before. I was in and out faster than I expected. The experience really showed how much the people caring for you matter. Cassie and Dr. Phil work incredibly well together and clearly care about helping their patients. And yes, the slushie on the way out was a nice bonus. This visit completely changed my view of WellNow, and I'm very grateful for such great care.
