I was told certain services were covered by my insurance, only to be charged later--without warning. I was promised call-backs that never happened. I had to chase them down repeatedly, and even then, the information I received was inconsistent and unclear. The final straw was when I asked to understand the charges and why they had changed. Instead of addressing my concerns, the accountant immediately told me--before I even had a chance to fully explain my disagreement--that I should "take my business somewhere else if I'm not happy." Completely dismissive and unprofessional. I expected honest communication and respect as a patient. Instead, I felt misled and ignored. I would strongly caution anyone considering this office--look elsewhere if you value clear billing, follow-up, and being treated with basic courtesy.

We saw Dr. Tahari today and she was so gentle, friendly, and calm. Then April, hygienist, did the cleaning and flouride treatment and was also very gentle and friendly. I was so surprised at how calm and forthcoming my daughter was during the entire visit. My daughter's first visit back in Mar was challenging as my daughter was crying and scared which was expected due to the new environment. During that visit, the staff were great as well, Dr. Matt worked quickly to examine her teeth, and the hygenist managed to get in a quick brush and flouride treatment. The reality is they only see patients during normal working hours, although I happened to call on a Tuesday for an emergency and was told no doctors were in. Dr Saoud failed to diagnose the cause of significant jaw pain I was having and dismissed my concern entirely. After seeing another dentist I was diagnosed with a severe wisdom tooth issue requiring oral surgery. They also attempt to "sell" services during your exam typically included in an exam by every other dentist I've seen. Once I questioned the receptionist about a billing issue and told her I had to go through this after every visit. She then told me I should consider going somewhere else. I went to this office because they accepted my insurance but you get what you pay for. They make up the difference by selling treatments and services that aren't necessary. There are many other qualified dentists in the area. Do yourself a favor and find one.

Unfortunately, I have a small mouth (thanks mom and dad) and growing up, I ended up having a majority of my teeth extracted in order to ensure ample and adequate space in my mouth for my permanent teeth to grow in correctly. As a young kid, this experience isn't necessarily the most comfortable or welcoming--and Dr. Malecz made it that much ​worse. One time, he extracted 6 of my teeth instead of the 2 that I was told were going to be pulled, without telling me. Another time, he gave me a shot of Novocain for 4 teeth I was having extracted and did not wait for the Novocain to set (as mandated for use) and ended up pulling my teeth straight away. 4 teeth pulled with little to no numbness. My mom says she knew right away that the Novocain​ hadn't set in and that I was screaming bloody murder and he had no care in the world. That was the last time we were there. As a pediatric dentist, you would think his attitude would be more welcoming and comforting than not. He speaks in an extremely condescending tone and continuously talks down to you during the appointment. I am 21 years old and still struggle with going to the dentist because of the traumatic experiences I have had at this practice. Please, I'm asking all the parents out here, to NOT force your kids to continue going to a doctor that continuously makes them uncomfortable and scared. It's not worth it.

Had a routine wisdom tooth extraction. Wait time was long, but what office doesn't have long wait…read moretimes? Doctor Lee begins extraction. His bedside manner is not the greatest. 2/3 of the way through and he cuts me so badly that the blood won't stop pooling in my mouth. At this point he's in and out of the room, I assume with other patients. I have to communicate with the assistant using the note function on my phone to let her know I cannot hold anymore blood in my mouth. He finally comes back. Informs me that if the bleeding doesn't stop I'll have to go to the hospital. Then complains (jokes?) that I ruined his Friday night. This went on for hours. I did not get charged for the butchering (gee thanks) and received 2 follow up phone calls for two days after. 3 weeks later the wound isn't healed yet. Accidents happen, but this turned into a nightmare. I tried to see if I was overreacting, but my insurance carrier assured me this was abnormal and worth reporting and filing a complaint. I had one appointment prior and that was uneventful, besides the pressure to have the extraction, which i should have denied. Tried to go for a deep cleaning and had to cancel due to childcare. No other appointments available for months. Probably for the best.

I was so scared (really, really scared), but he was nice and making jokes from the start and it relaxed me basically right away. Also, the extraction itself was extremely quick and gentle. I never leave reviews but I think the bad review he got didn't do him justice. Everyone's experience is valid but don't let the bad review turn you away. Recommend him 100%
