This place is a hidden gem! I saw Amie for a deep tissue, and it was Probably one of the best massages I have ever had! And believe me, I have had a LOT . I was referred to Amie by my Chiropractor. I have horrible neck and shoulder pain because of my job, and it has left me with knots the size of boulders. I have had a hard time finding a true deep tissue therapist who seems to know what they are doing. Amie was very nice and polite. She went through my medical history and took time with me, asking questions and really seeming to care about my pain. VERY refreshing. I felt comfortable with her instantly. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The room that Amie took me into was cozy and relaxing. The lighting was perfect, the music was relaxing, and oh the massage table! It was so warm and comfortable. The massage was deep, and Amie found knots that I didn't even know I had. Was completely relaxed. I asked her if we could extend the massage to 90 mins and lucky for me, she was able to accommodate. She spent quite a bit of time on my feet. She put some kind of peppermint on them as well, and they felt light and cool. My range of motion was so much better when we were through! I could lift my hands over my head without whincing! She gave me some samples of a pain reliever for my muscles that will probably last a month. Very generous! The price was right,(only 90 for the hour and a half) it has been a bit over a week now, and I still feel great. I bought 3 massages at a special price that she was offering( only 50 bucks each) I can't wait for my next appointment! Amiee is an artist at endermologie!! I'll be turning 60 years young in a few months and have had the typical struggle with weight control and a thickening waistline. Combining a healthy diet, workouts at the gym and Amiee's magic with the LPG endermologie machine, my waist is noticeably trimmer! Hooray! Down 2 pant sizes and the waist (no low-rise) fit me comfortably. Something that diet and excercise alone failed to accomplish. I have purchased a series of 10 sessions (twice) so I have also had her treat my face and neck. Lines have almost disapeared and my skin is smooth and firm. Again...Hooray! I had a gift certificate for a facial with Amy from my Mother in law. After reading the poor review, I almost didn't go. There is nothing worse than getting mediocre service that you have to suffer through..But my mother in law kept asking if I had gotten my facial yet, so I went ahead and called for an appointment. I had to leave a voice mail, but Amy got back to me the next day. When I arrived for my appointment , Amy met me in the waiting room and walked me back to this large softly lit room. It smelled of eucalyptus and mint. The table had heated blankets and crisp white sheets. All of the products felt great, and she thoroughly wiped products off between . I hate it when one product is gooped on top of another! It feels nothing like clean skin to me. I had the choice of a neck massage or the feet. I chose the neck. What a treat! I was so relaxed that I fell asleep at one point. Everything was great from the beginning to the end. She put some kind of firming mask on as well that she said was all natural and would last up to 5 days. I am on day number 4, and I do see a tightness and kind of plump to my neck and jawline. I have been a client of Dermal Dynamics since 2008. I moved to Granada Hills from Santa Monica where I used to get lash extensions. I have found Kathleen does a much better job, for a much better price. She is fun, easy going and puts you right at ease. But WAIT! THERE"S MORE (I sound like a tv ad, I know, but I have lots to say!) I've also had massages, facials and permanent makeup at Dermal Dynamics. With a high stress, busy job, Kathleen keeps me ready to face anything! I get regular facials (I buy them in a series of six) and have to say, it has really made a difference- and I have pretty good skin to begin with. I had permanent makeup for my eyebrow years ago when I accidentally plucked them to near nothingness and they failed to grow back (yea, who would have thought!?!) . I had it originally done by someone who totally screwed it up (crooked, different heights and oy! what can I say? Bangs and hats became my best friends). Wow!!! I just got onto this sight and read the obnoxiously inaccurate writeup on Dermal Dynamics. Must be a jealous competitor!!! Really, I had the wonderful luck to find Dermal Dynamics close to my home. I have been driving and flying everywhere for my eyelash extensions and yes, I have some horror stories I could tell. But when I came to Kathleen it was like "Aaaaahhhhh, finally, a true professional!!" I am so happy with the quality of her work and the attention to detail she gives. My lashes look beautiful and going into the salon is something I look forward to. She makes sure I am very comfortable and always asks if I'm okay and I always am. What an amazing surprise! I have never had eyebrows and Kathleen helped me with permanent eyebrows. She took lots of time with me to discuss and determine the correct size and color for my face, hair color and skin type. I am really happy with the result. They look fantastic and I am feeling beautiful! She also performed Microdermabrasion that made my skin positively glow! Shocked at the poor review on the pumpkin facial! I found Amie by that same spree bird facial. My experience was quite the opposite. Amie was very personable and engaging. The facial was relaxing and thorough. After putting my mask on, she massaged my head and neck. She even spent time working on a knot in my neck that I have had for years. I am now a frequent flyer with Amie and come twice a month. My skin is looking great, and I look forward to my appointments. She even gave me a discount for buying blocks of facials.
