I had to see Vanessa THREE times back to back hoping she would fix what should have been done the first time! I let the 1st time slide, since I just met her, but after the 2nd and 3rd time, no excuses! And for her to charge me EVERY TIME! For something she should have done right the 1st time definitely the 2nd time! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! And then for her to turn to me the 3rd time expecting a tip! The Botox injectors are inexperienced, and the Dermani locations have high employee turnover. You get what you pay for. *in response to the owner's comments, I purposely do not have my name publicly posted. Each time I've gotten Botox, it's always uneven, requires a 'fix' and the injectors seem to only have a couple of years experience which is quite obvious. While, the prices are attractive, my experience has pushed me to pay more at a Derm or surgeon practice. Maybe you should look into hiring more experienced professionals who have several years of experience under their belt. read more

I have been coming to this location for a few years, always for Botox and fillers. The experience has been ok, sometimes I left with bruising, it all depends on who you get. But I recently tried a new laser service. It was completely ineffective. Total waste of time and money. As others have said in reviews, I believe their machines are old and do not work at all. I did express my dissatisfaction and I was shocked at the way it was handled. Dajia, their front desk manager, was rude and combative towards me. I asked for the owner's name and she told me I could not speak with him and they had no way to contact him. So, Mr, Harvey, if you're reading this, your front desk needs customer service training. The way they treat a long-standing customer when things do not go right says a lot about a company. Dermani brags about being the "cheapest". Well, you get what you pay for, just remember that. Also, it's wild how they pressure you for tips. Yes, expected to tip on Botox! They have huge signs at the front desk with nurse and physician assistant Venmo numbers. They first ask you verbally, if would you like to tip. If you say no, they turn a screen towards you requesting a tip. Then there are signs all in your face with Venmo and Zelle numbers. Who tips 20% on Botox and similar services? Who tips PA and nurses? It's way over the top. Not at all how a professional dermatologist or plastic surgeon handles things. As an African American Woman, I was extremely hesitant about having a none African American woman doing my skincare regiment BUT to my surprise my beautiful esthetician Brenna Miller made a believer out of me that my skincare is safe in her hands. While laser hair removal might not work for everyone, I am very thankful for Jasmine and would recommend her for anyone who needs customer support as she was wonderful to work with. Thank you for changing my experience and my opinion, Jasmine! 10/10 do NOT recommend for laser hair removal. I was an "ideal" candidate with light skin and dark hair. After a year, there is literally no difference in my hair growth. I had 12 sessions and was religious about going within the recommended time frame each month. After my bad experience, I took a 4 month break from Dermani, but I decided to try it again and have been going in for monthly laser hair removal for the past 5 months. Dermani closed the gap between the wall and the ceiling, making the space feel more private. Belle, the front desk lady is always so kind and helpful. I recommend doing any laser hair removal treatments with Nahoami and Twila. They both are cautious with your skin and make you feel comfortable. I went to Dermani to get botox after moving to the area. I was told it wasn't time yet and I really appreciated that honesty that helped me save some money. I went back for lip filler and although everything turned out fine, I wasn't super comfortable (lack of info, too quick of treatment - lack of adequate discussion). Returned today for my first laser treatment- I saw Violeta and she was amazing!! I felt so comfortable with her. A true queen. I don't know that I'd fully recommend Dermani for injectables, but book your laser hair removal with Violeta!! read more

$99 UNLIMITED LASER FOR WHOLE BODY That in itself makes this worthwhile! The prices are competitive and the only requirement is that you are a member for at least 6 months. It normally takes upwards of 6 treatments or six months til you see full results anyway, so this is a great deal. I've had many recommendations for this place and now I'll be happy to recommend this place to others too! If you refer someone, they give the person who referred 20% off their next treatment. The laser they use is quite good and you barely feel anything but some slight prickling when the laser is on. It can hurt in more sensitive areas but overall I hear it is much more tolerable than the lasers of before. Emily is a favorite among us girls but I've had Danielle and Leah(?) and they were good too. Just ask them to be more thorough and turn down/up the laser strength to your preference/tolerance. read more

I've always had great experience at all of the locations at dermani med spa. Their staff has always been so helpful and attentive. They offer free consultations which is awesome and their website has so many details of everything they offer. Their lasers for laser hair removal are great and with the membership pricing, it's so affordable. They also sell image and GM Collins and with a membership you get 25% off them. I've never been to a med spa that offers that for members. They also offer IPL, peels, Botox, juvederm, kybella. Seriously best med spa in atlanta, Hands down. So I'll start by saying, I went to Alex right before my wedding in May and she did a wonderful hydra facial. My skin was glowing she knows her product and understands skincare concerns. Second month I went to Asha. She was great as well. Moving from Indianapolis, it was hard for me to find a great Esthician place. Okay moving forward. Today I was supposed to have my monthly membership facial. I travel 40 minutes to get to Dermani, when I arrived the receptionist said I have you with Katie! I said I scheduled with Alex, she then replied that Alex had a funeral. Which I totally understand, things happen, but where was a phone call, an email, a text message? I received no type of communication or contact. I do not play about my skin and I was taken back with the lack of any apology! She did say I could have the facial on them, but I already pay a membership, so it wouldn't truly be on you, unless I revived something extra. I proceeded to cancel my membership. That's just bad business practice for someone not to look at a schedule and understand that not every Customer wants to go to a different Esthician. She only sent a refund of September payment. Not August, August still shows that I paid and no membership refund. No worries at all, I look forward to contacting my bank and letting them know I was charged a service without receiving one, also somehow she couldn't give me a document showing that my membership was cancelled! Sandy Springs location.... My first visit (Botox forehead/eyebrows) was fine... Didn't feel treatment was all that successful... even after taking the practitioners recommendation to "do 6's everywhere to make sure she makes me look the best she can...she's an artist and just knows 6's will be so much better result..." Fast forward to today....called in to do my next treatment, which would have been much sooner than they suggested I would need to, the person answering the phone was clearly too busy helping other people to listen to my request. She threw out one date and could have cared less about the previous results or taking the time to find a convenient time for me, the client. She was talking to other people during my entire phone call. What I find most amazing is I am full price customer not looking for the 'deal' or 'retreat for free' but she wouldn't know that because she was clearly too busy to care... I had chemical peel at this place. After I did twice, the third time I had very strong reaction, my face been red, extremely dry and swollen and face is hurting when under sun for over 10 mins for a few months. It was dec, 2016 when that happened, now April 2017 I am still taking meds to try to cure that. they wouldn't admit it's their fault and kept saying it's within protocol. I suffered so much, had to go see dermatologist and paid a lot of money. I asked them just to reimburse the money I spent on the dermatologist, which is just few hundred dollars, don't think about the time I spent and how much I suffer. Instead, they keep calling me trying to argue it's not their fault and wouldn't reimburse the money, not even refund the $55 the third time when their procedure caused my issue. Even after I told them that my dermatologist said my skin issue was caused by their chemical peel. And they refused to call the dermatologist to verify about my issue . Don't go there. If anything happen, they won't take any responsibility and just tell you what they did it's within protocol. read more

This place is great! I came in for underarm laser and I was so nervous because I had this done years ago and the results were bad. It was very painful and after many treatments, the hair never stopped growing. I decided to try again and I met with the aesthetician Twila to go over what to expect. She was very patient and thorough. Twila explained what was going to happen and answered all of my questions. This time there was no pain! on top of that, after a few weeks, still no hair. I've been going to Dermani Medspa (previously Renew Laser & Cosmetics) for more than 6 months for laser hair removal treatments. It has 3 locations in the Atlanta metro area: Buckhead, Sandy Springs, and Johns Creek, where I go. This place competes with Groupon packages by always offering the lowest prices per treatment. The only catch is they lock you into a 6 months contract, which is how long one needs to see true results anyway! What I pay for unlimited areas (entire body) is what other locations charge for ONE large area!!! Their prices are unheard of! They have the latest most effective technology (not the old painful machines) and a very friendly staff. I met the owners, husband and wife, the nicest couple ever. They are very active in the community and help with a number of local charities. I can't say enough good things about this place! read more

Purchased the $45 facial special from facebook, to try it out, and was not impressed. The entire facial lasted no more than 20 minutes - I have never had a facial this quick. Very clinical-type setting where I laid on the table without a blanket, no robe, bright lights overhead. Felt more like I was going to the dentist than getting a facial. I went to Dermani Medspa in John's Creek. I saw two different estheticians and they both told me opposing things about IPL. One said I can have it done during hot summer months and the other said I could not. After a few treatments I saw no improvement in my Melasma. It was a waste of money for both the IPL Photofacial and the microdermabrasian. I'm now on Obaji from an actual dermatologis's officet and the retin a and hydroquinone have improved my hyperpigmentation by 50% in about 3 months. I did, however, receive a refund for the remainder of the 6 months of treatments I had purchased at Dermani. I would recommend seeing a dermatologist as opposed to an esthetician in a medspa for skin treatments. read more

Purchased a groupon for two IPL treatments. Went for my first appointment in Oct. and my second in Nov. Everyone that I came in contact with at Dermani was very friendly. The esthetician who performed the treatments was nice and informative (it was my first time receiving this treatment). My main issue is that I saw zero results. I was assured the first time around that I would see changes in capillaries (saw nothing). When I went back for my second appt I told the esthetician I hadn't noticed any improvements and she said she will "turn it up" ("it" being the laser) since it was my second time around. It's now 4 weeks since my second appointment and I still haven't noticed any improvements whatsoever. I am not sure if it's their equipment or what but it was a waste of money and time. Not to mention the procedure is really painful. I understand some people need more treatments to see results but after 2 treatments I should have at least seen minor changes. read more

Bought a two-year deal a while back, and I have been so pleased. I go to the Buckhead location (there isn't a Yelp listing for that one) for laser hair removal. I have always had a fantastic experience. The customer service and "bedside manner" is always topnotch, very professional. The laser is great, and I had results after two visit. The nice thing about the deal is that you have plenty of time to see results and go back for touchups if necessary. My only gripe is that I wish they were closer to me! read more

I am only giving 4 stars for the Sandy Springs location due to membership billing issues I have had with them. Recently my monthly membership fee was deducted from my bank account twice in one month. And, this is not the first time this has happened. And, both times it has happened, I was assured that I would receive a refund, however, instead of a refund, I received a credit to my Dermani Medspa account. After calling repeatedly and speaking to different people, someone finally gets it right, and I eventually end up receiving a refund to my bank card. For example, I accidentally contacted the Vining Springs location and "Joyce" was able to help resolve my issue immediately. She emailed me a "refund" receipt immediately. Although this occurred at Sandy Springs, she was still willing to help me. Thank you Joyce!
