Jessica is who I spoke to on the phone and she was extremely rude, I was transferred to an "office manager" and was then hung up on. I totally understand no shows, ect but this was canceled timely , names written down and all. Bottom line nobody should be spoke to the way I was today . Hopefully the staff can get some training and do better in the future.

Ander's Dermatology is an insurance billing mill that grossly overcharges private insurance…read morecompanies in order to ensure they get a solid payout for 5-minute consultations. After 30 minutes in the waiting area, I went to the exam room to be seen by the doctor. The doctor saw me for no longer than 5 minutes, said my skin looked good, and then skedaddled off. It was clear he did not read the referral or any of the doctor's notes before the visit, as he did not know the problem areas before entering the room. He had me off the top of my head show him the moles that I thought were concerning, and reassured me that none of them were. Then the receptionist told me that there was no additional charges, and I left. Two weeks later, a bill of $105.00 showed up to my door. After speaking with the billing office (which took 30 minutes to connect to) I learned that they originally billed $247.00 to my insurance company. Meaning that Dr. Ander's skills were worth $4,940.00 an hour.... The billing office told me there was no way they can do a reduction as it raises redflags with the insurance company. I'll tell you what should raise a red flag with the insurance company - a 5 minute consult costing $247.00. DO NOT GO HERE - unless you've run out of other options. Support small local family practices. (my opinion)
