Terrible place, terrible policies. They won't return your phone calls, or set up an appointment. Nobody is there to answer the phone. I finally got a call the night before, to fill an opening/cancellation early the next morning, no confirmation email. I said I would try to make it but there was no commitment. When I couldn't make it, I got a bombardment of emails demanding a $75 cancellation fee. It was sheer harassment. I asked to speak to management, and got no call back. Horrible experience! if you're Doctor refers you to this Dr. Kuneynetz, ask for another Doctor! Google him and you'll know why. Waited 50 mins to be seen by the Doctor after waiting months for it only to spend 2-3 mins with the Doctor telling me he can only discuss one item. I had asked about another issue but was quickly denied saying he didn't have time to discuss another matter. He then tried to push an appointment for a paid surgical procedure which I had no intentions of booking after that experience. Very sketchy Doctor, unprofessional and didn't present himself well. Doctor sent me referral for this derm. I booked the appointment with the receptionist over the phone and decided to Google the doctor's name (Kunynetz). I saw the litany of media coverage and complaints he has received over the years and I could care less that his license has been reinstated given what the charges were against him. I went to the new location on 1435 Hurontario Street. The appointment was taken on time however follow up emails from the clinic have been very sketchy sounding. I asked via email if I could do the follow up appointment post surgery virtually. The response I received was that it was an initial consultation and that I had to come into the office. Also, When I requested if a fee was associated with the follow up appointment they replied with "If you have OHIp card appointment is covered under OHIP. Also if you want to do any procedure dr will inform you when you will be here." Very unprofessional emails and I've had a surgery already, so why would I need to have another procedure? Unfortunately these are all the sketchy vibes I can handle today. I will be letting my family doctor know as well that his referrals are better sent elsewhere. read more

My doctor requested an appt since March 2023. They booked me in for June and I asked them to schedule in sep. They said they had no doctors in sep. I then ask to reschedule me and they replied they are booke up in nov. I have yet to hear back from them. They don't answer thevphones unless you're doing cosmetic procedures. Unfortunately, I was referred here by my doctor. The negative reviews already stood out to me but because it was a referral, I needed to give them a chance. I tried phoning but their automated message said they are only accepting communications through email. So I emailed them explaining my skin concerns and about my work schedule (about how I could only do appointments after work since I'm still on probation and am not going to put myself in an uncomfortable position by taking time off already). I also mentioned for them to solely contact me through strictly email unless there is a scheduled phone call because I am at work. I also said to only put my mobile number on file, not home number as the home one is not monitored. Online the hours of the clinic are till 5pm. The clinic called me three times (after I already said not to call me unless it is scheduled and my phone is on silent at work). Then they emailed me back, they said they booked me for Tuesday April 13th. I replied back asking what time and reminded them of my work schedule and that I am only capable of afternoon appointments. They called me twice more - again, I didn't answer. Then they emailed me back and told me it is an in person appointment. They again did not answer my question about what time it was that. So I asked again. They finally replied and said it is at 10:15am and that the clinic closes at 230pm. I was beyond frustrated at this point because they just went ahead and scheduled me for a time that did not work. If they could not fill my schedule request, why didn't they just tell me? I replied and told them to cancel it because it is not a time I could do. They replied after some hours and said they went ahead and cancelled it. Three weeks later, they call my home phone and my mobile phone while I'm at work to tell me that my appointment is the next day. What the hell?! I told her that I cancelled it already and that I've been told in an email that it was cancelled. So not only did they not cancel the appointment, they also did not listen to me from the start. They called my home number when I stated to not call it. They called me at work again and they're completely incompetent with customer service. I am thankful that I did my research prior to visiting them to save myself the headache and the disrespect shown from all staff. The way patients are being treated is despicable and I would NEVER recommend this place, not even to an enemy. If I am not able to communicate with them with basic appointment requests, I definitely cannot imagine communicating with them for actual skin problems. The stress of their clinic would probably cause flare ups. The denial of their behaviour is also extremely immature. The clinic replies to more so the positive reviews than the negative reviews instead of reflecting on their poor habits and communication skills of how they could improve. On the negative reviews that they did reply to, they could not hold accountability and had to blame the poster in any way they could. They also encourage you to email them your complaints but I can guarantee you that it won't solve anything- it will just get your conversation out of the public eye. Guess you cannot help those who think they're above you. Ironically, their slogan is "trust is more than skin deep" - which they know nothing about. But hey, let's just put the keyword "trust" into the slogan to fool people and make them think that were capable. read more

Former employee of this place. So many things are unethical and wrong I don't even know where to begin. Receptionists are asked to overbook patients, some will book 2-3 patients in one 15/30 minute timeslot. This is why you may be waiting for a long time. You're asked to take a lunch break no longer than 15 minutes even if you're there 8+ hours. Often times you may be expected to come in early/stay late, sometimes working 9-10 hour days on low wages. The worst part ethically--staff have a WhatsApp group that goes off at all hours of the day and night and the group chat includes personal patient information (HIPAA violation!!). Terrible bedside manner, I was waiting for like 25 mins in the room to the point that I thought they forgot about me, the doctor spoke to me for like 5 seconds and didn't tell me the diagnosis or any information, then the assistant came in and started treatment without explaining what was happening. This is literally the worst clinic I have EVER been to. Honestly, if you're ever referred here, don't go. I have been going there for over 2 years, I started out with ONE patch of psoriasis, which took forever for them to treat. Eventually it lead to having over 40% of my body covered. I was put on methotrexate for TWO YEARS! which by the way, you're only supposed to be on it for a max of one year. The doctor there tried telling me that it was my fault for not keeping up with my doses when EVERY SINGLE TIME I would call in for a refill or a new blood requisition, I was told I have to get a new referral from my doctor. And I had to keep going back and forth until finally after a coupe months of trying, I would get my refills. Just recently, he finally decided to stop the methotrexate and put me on biologics. My last appointment with them was FEBRUARY 12th! Where he told me he was going to fax out the request and I would get an answer within two weeks and I would be able to start my new treatment.. I had told him I wanted to get everything done as soon as possible because I am getting married this year. I was told on FEBRUARY 12TH it would take NO LONGER THAN 2 WEEKS. So I called today, which btw is the most annoying thing. They put you on hold for at least 10 minutes, or their line is always busy. When I called, I asked for an update, when the lady came back to the phone she had told me that the fax was JUST SENT OUT TODAY. It would not have been sent out if I didn't call!!! NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. Going in was great front desk was good didn't wait long. But once was in that room with the doctor I felt belittled and They didn't really care about my concerns. I wished I read up on reviews before I went. I was referred by my doctor for issues ongoing. My Doctor referred to them but she made a minor error on report. I told them no its regarding this and showed him. Any skin specialist or dermatologist would of spotted it right away Just from my face and eyes. So I talked about correct issues reason why there. I was told only discussing 2 things. So he gave a me a cream to help heal sores. So I asked about other issues white spots . He told me he already discussed 2 questions. I have to make another appt. So I question what they were and was told one question was mistake from doctor the other was sores. Then I got a lecture how there are only so many dermatologist in Ontario its up to doctors to figure issues. . They do not care about clients health issues or concerns. I have never been shocked on comments or how he conducted himself through exam. I wonder what they are billing OHIP for . This is not the doctor you want to go to. SAD read more

The worse customer service and Doctor's. behavior ever I got an appointment with the doctor at this clinic 2 weeks ago, then I received a call on my 1st appointment day from the clinic that is the doctor has to leave today and they gave me another appointment in two weeks after at 4:30pm, I reached at 4:35 and the receptionist said the doctor has left the clinic, I said I am 5 mints late, she said I called one hour ago and left a message that the doctor is leaving soon, that means -she called me at 3:30- and -soon- means within 15 minutes maximum, I told her my appointment at 4:30 not at 3:30, and when I checked my phone I found out the call is only half an hour prior to my appointment so have nothing to do if the doctor has change his mined and wanted to see me earlier once I have organized my time to come at 4:30. I found out that is the doctor does not respect his patient's appointment at all after he cancelled my 1st appointment 2 weeks ago I highly recommend finding a butter, responsible doctor who cares about his patient read more

Was referred by my GP and I was not impressed to say the least. The receptionist has ZERO personality, terrible customer service. Also, the physician's assistant tells me I should not get the procedure done as I will scar but when I finally saw the Dr. he said that he highly recommends it (after telling me it's $400-$500). Had an appointment for 13:15hrs and did not see the Dr. for another 20 minutes. When he finally walked in, he sat on the stool, looked at my file on the computer monitor while rubbing his hair and then touched my face without any gloves on... YUK. I wish I didn't even have to give this a star. I was told this doctor spends time with his patients and actually listens to his patients. My experience was the complete opposite of this. I went in for acne treatment and was prepared with all the questions and concerns I had for the dermatologist. The doctors assistant had her back to me the entire time and asked the same questions over and over even though she had my history record on the computer. The doctor himself didn't even spend one 1 full minute with me. He came in, didn't have the decency to look at me and made his diagnoses. He recommended Accutane immediately even though my acne wasn't so severe and has and could be healed through topical treatments. I told him I don't want to jump to Accutane. During all this, the secretary and doctors assistant were popping their heads into the room and talking to the doctor about an issue with the system WHILE he was speaking to me. He quickly muttered two topical treatments and ran out of the room leaving me with no time to even ask my questions. After this, the assistant still faced away from me asked me several questions she had already asked me before and printed the prescription. When I went to the pharmacy later to pick it up, turns out the doctor forgot to even sign the prescription. Oh and I didn't even bother asking questions because the answers were completely useless and they seemed pissed and in a rush everytime I asked. Honestly this was one of the worst patient care I've ever seen in my life and I think I could do a better job than half the people there. Dear Dr.Faisal with all my respect to you, you need to be taught workplace ethics all over again. I have never encountered such horrific treatment from a Dr like this in my whole life. You didn't even introduce yourself or ask for me to explain myself. You didn't even give me any eye contact and you didn't allow me to speak when I had questions. You spoke for exactly 1 minute and left without saying a word. I am a patient and I have the right to ask questions and you didn't even allow me to speak because you rushed out the door and left. The most unprofessional doctor in this country and I have been living here for 20 years. I then had hope and asked your nurse to explain to me the condition that you diagnosed me with in 1 minute, she tells me "search in Google and you'll know your condition". Horrible experience here. I was referred to this dermatologist because I told my family doctor that I was afraid that I was developing cystic acne. She said that she could get me an appointment with this dermatologist within two weeks. First of all, it took about four weeks for this appointment to be scheduled, but that's not even the start of what I have to complain about. I understand that these specialists usually take a long time to see. That's fine. But when I finally get to my appointment, I had already exhausted a lot of my options trying to take care of these sudden rashes and huge pimples on my face. When I got there, I was put into a room within 20 minutes - not bad. One female doctor or nurse came into the room within 10 minutes - again, not bad - and took all of my information down. She asked me if I had been taking any medications, my date of birth, etc. Then, in comes this male "doctor"who says he is the dermatologist. Please note that this doctor was not Dr. Faisal Al-Mohammedi as it states on the Dermcare website. Much younger guy. Seemed like he was in a rush from the second he walked into the room. He closed the door and asked me to explain what was going on with my skin. I started to, but within seconds, he was already trying to prescribe me something. I had to stop him quickly and tell him I previously had an allergic reaction to what he was about to prescribe me (Benzaclin). So he proceeded to tell the female to give me something else (Retin-A micro gel), and tell me about the cosmetic procedures that can be done if I don't want to go the prescription route. This is where red flags start to go up for me. Every fricken dermatologist out there wants to do surgery on you and essentially rip you off by selling you on procedures and products that aren't covered by insurance. So I kindly turn him down on the procedure he was recommending. He then starts to head to the door and tells me to have a good day before I can even ask him any questions. I tell him to wait because I have a few questions and he''s rushing out of our appointment in less than five minutes. He says he can answer my questions quickly, but he has other patients to tend to. He kept his hand on the door, back to me. I, of course, had to argue. That is completely ludicrous reasoning for rushing out on your current patient. I asked him to please sit down because I felt like I was being rushed and we had only been talking for three minutes. He told me that I can still ask my questions, but I can't hold him up. He said that this is not his fault that he has to rush, and that I should blame Kathleen Wynne... Really now?? I was so turned off by this dude. He showed no compassion and just cared about getting through all his patients and collecting as much money as he could. I did not feel cared for at this clinic. But I will close off by saying that the Retin-A micro gel seems to be working for me so far. Thank God. No way in hell I'm going back to this man. I wish I could remember his name. read more
