Later, the clinic's own nurse admitted that proceeding without proper skin preparation was not the right clinical decision. Additional issues: * Skincare products were pushed into the package despite my warning of prior bad reactions * I was told it was a "new formula" -- I then had the same reaction again * When I cancelled further sessions due to safety concerns, the clinic refused to refund the unused balance I was charged full tax upfront for the entire package (confirming it was sold as a package), then it was later reclassified as a "single session" to justify keeping my money. With the shift change the receptionist scrambled to find the available "Beatrix", her profile, besides enticing photos, notes an exotic background, "Dutch/Ukrainian", heck, I would have taken a wee green Martian. Beatrix was working a double shift (attendants seem to get a limited number of shifts per week), and I am guessing the receptionist dragged from her dinner break. Beatrix was lovely, good standard conversation "where are you from?", and great service, I think I'd describe her as "sweet". Since covid and now working at home I do not get out as much, and she gave me the simple emotional and physical connection I needed.

But if you go first thing (7:45 a.m.) you'll be out by 9:00/9:15 a.m. He is personable, very professional and I feel confident that he has thoroughly examined my eyes. Opthalmologists are medical professionals - their scope is much broader and they are medically qualified, as opposed to optometrists. This gentleman is reputable.
