Love this place! The vibe inside is so cozy and fresh feeling, there's tons of great spots to chill and drink a coffee or tea and some food. I got a Somali coffee which had some great and warming spices in it. I also got a biscoff crepe which was absolutely delicious, the crepe was perfectly thin and the biscoff was to die for. My favorite thing however was trying the Nafaqo which is a hard boiled egg wrapped in potato and spices and fried, it was so good and savory with some spice. Definitely a must try! The staff was welcoming and super helpful in deciding what to get, a great experience!

Newcomer here! Decided to check it out as I was only a few minutes away. This coffee shop is in the heart of Columbia heights. Accessible parking and not busy. Front entrance is cute and quaint. Walked in and chill vibes. Very quiet in here. Not a lot of traffic. Not a lot of food option if you're looking for any but there's samosas, crepes, some desserts and some wraps. Friendly and courteous staff. Only one barista in here at the time. I ordered the Spanish latte hot which was nice and sweet but not super sweet. Only issue is the power went out when I ordered a samosa so I had to eat it chilled which wasn't bad. Samosa was pretty good.

I heard about this coffee shop that stays open pretty late. I was looking for something after dinner, like a dessert. We pulled up to the cafe, from the outside looks like a cafe or diner. But when we got inside, it was a different vibe. Green colored walls, vibe was like a lounge. People were hanging out or working on their laptop.

WiFi issue must be fixed because it worked great the last two times I went there. Also I tried the Somali tea which is wonderful!

This was my first time at this particular coffee shop, and I really enjoyed it! Service was friendly and fast, and the shop itself was very cozy and relaxing. I really loved the lighting and the variety of chairs and tables to sit at. I had a meeting here with someone, and it was super quiet. Highly recommend for a little snack and/or place to chill for a bit. Ordered the smoothie and a pastry, both were really good and reasonably priced!

Such a cozy and welcoming spot! The place has a homey feel, and the prices are super affordable. I got a delicious Somali coffee and a yummy pastry for under $7. The staff is really kind, and it's a great place to meet up with friends or get some work done in a laid-back setting. They have delicious Somali pastries along with great drinks. Definitely worth a visit! There's a private parking lot too. LOVE!

I don't know the name of it but it's a egg wrapped in potatoes with hot sauce and is great

I came here a couple months ago and wish I wrote this sooner, but better late than never. I called the number on their website earlier in the evening to ask a simple question, and a man called me back 2-3 hours later and kept calling when I didn't answer, which felt unprofessional and strange. When I arrived, the parking lot made me think I was pulling into someone's house, not a café, and the inside didn't feel welcoming at all. The tres leches cake tasted old, like it had been sitting out all day. The drink I ordered was also poorly made by an older man who just dumped a lot of sugar and syrup into it with no real recipe or balance, and it tasted sloppy and overly sweet. On top of that, the environment was uncomfortable because it was mostly men inside, and as a woman, it didn't feel like a safe or comfortable space. I wouldn't come back.

Cute local spot with several parking spots of their own. There is also street parking. Pastries, a soda fridge, and plenty of places to sit. Would be a good place to grab a beverage and study as well. Several tables to spread out on. They put a lot of effort into making this a pleasant visit!

Amazing place definitely underrated has a lack of reviews so I'm here to add THE MATCHA was great, but i recommend the smaller size cause more compact, flavor is more if you know what I mean, I got the large but it was still good. The cake was my friend's and it was DELICIOUS

Smooth, refreshing, and just the right touch of floral. That alone was enough to impress me, but what really got me back in the door? The chocolate chip cookie I didn't grab the first time around. You guys! Let me say this with all the excitement I can put into words: this is the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. Seriously. Thick, with crispy edges and a soft, gooey center -- every bite was perfect. I'm still thinking about it. I also picked up a cheddar frittata to take home, and the staff gave me simple instructions on how to reheat it -- it turned out great. Shoutout to Annette, who was so friendly and made my morning visit even better. I left with a huge smile thanks to the great customer service. I even got to meet the owners on my first visit, and they were just as warm and welcoming. Honour Coffee is the kind of place you want to keep all to yourself, but it's too good not to share. I'll keep recommending it to friends and coming back to enjoy their thoughtful menu, cozy vibe, and amazing people. This place is truly something special.

If this company has cameras with audio, I would encourage them to listen back to order 6525 that was placed today, March 19th, 2026 around 5:45 PM. I came to support this establishment because I have yet to do so since the opening, and was excited to contribute to the success of a black owned business. The grounds were clean, and the music was a vibe. I placed my order at the Kiosk, and paid nearly $25 for a $9 juice and $10 smoothie with tax. Both products were wonderful. However, that's not my concern. The service was without a doubt unprofessional and uncomfortable. The man serving the community today began to chat with me, catching up because we were familiar with one another from my previous employer. After asking where I was working now, he began to solicit me with job opportunities within Life Juices and on his own personal product line, offering me $500 to assist him with marketing. (Mind you, this is very similar to the conversation we had when I met him the first time, he let me know then that he's co-owner of Life Juices and also offered me job opportunities.) When I declined, he asked why do "black women" act like this or that (I don't remember exactly what was said) At this point, I'm annoyed and offended. After I respectfully read him his rights, I told him I don't want him to make my juice and I'd like my money back. He randomly referred to himself as a Pharaoh and let me know that he would begin making my order. As I'm waiting for my order, two other patrons walk up to place an order. The man serving took this as an opportunity to poke fun at me with one of them, saying I don't recognize a Pharaoh when I see one, and dapping up the stud. Now, I did my best to be a good sport. They began to joke that I don't even know what Pharaoh means. I decide that I'm not going to pay attention anymore. As I bend down to give my three year old juice, the patron leaned over to ask "do you know what pharaoh mean" I responded and said "it means King". She then returned to the conversation with the man working discussing how women need to do better when they see a Pharaoh (that's just a paraphrase) Now if you get a chance to listen to the audio, I was referred to out of my name during this conversation (meaning the b word) and I'm trying to figure out how did we get here when I just came to order some juice that I didn't even want in the first place- just supporting a local business. SMH I'm so upset, honestly. The audacity of these people to refer to me out of my name in front of my three year old son was so distasteful. The audacity to include this random patron that I don't know to poke fun at any person, but me..? a person who just supported your establishment. All because I declined your advances? If you're reading this, shame on you. Do better.
