I suffered a back sprain while working out and it was severe. I spoke with Kate, the receptionist, who was very accommodating, she did whatever it took to get me in there (they are booked, always). Make sure you're patient because Dr. Stern takes his time with each patient and makes sure he answers all your questions and makes you feel better (there will be a bit of a wait). Dr. Stern truly has hands of gold. Before my appointment, I could barely move, couldn't bend, nothing. After my visit, I was mobile, I can squat, I could bend, I was feeling so much relief. Why is he a class act? He was kind enough to give me his direct contact info and made sure day by day to see how I was doing, if I was in pain, how I can continue my treatment at home and truly cared. Dr Lang started having me line up against a gridded wall, and photographed my posture explaining while he focused the camera how import alignment and posture are to our well being. With just a few questions and some taps he quickly made some adjustments that left my brain less foggy, my face with color, and a visual difference in my posture that even Mr Magoo could see in the after photo. Somehow I was taller! I highly recommend you get a package and schedule all appointments in at purchase (it can be hard to land those lunch hour and after 5 pm sessions!). Called the office a number of times and never received a return call. Went to the office hoping to see the doctor and was told he was leaving and couldn't see me and I would get an antibiotic. Asked why there never was a return call and he said he was having issues with the phone. Tried the office again the following day and when I walked in the male receptionist told me did I think I was entitled walking in and since I haven't been there in 2 years what did I expect. Needless to say I walked out after being insulted and reprimanded and found another doctor and I was diagnosed with bronchitis. Dr Buono is a wonderful doctor but it's impossible to get past his rude male receptionist. Needless to say, due to the incredibly insolence of the male receptionist there are 3 less patients for that office. He needs to have a course in patient etiquette and proper and polite discourse.
