I spent a long time looking for a church that was God centered and rightly guided and frankly while no church is perfect, this church was perfect for us. We help out with sound, lights and projection on the odd Sunday or we sit in the second row, feel free to come and visit and find my husband and I. I would love to do church with you and introduce you to my pastors Andy, Brian and Abel, who are some of the best spiritual leaders I have had the pleasure of meeting. If you want a church that is perfect, has all the best people, only sings the songs you like and gives sermons that won't offend you or challenge you then this is not the place for you.... However, if you want a place to come, where you will be welcomed and loved regardless of where you are at in your walk with God; if you want a place that will challenge you spiritually to be better, that will give you a place to connect with other believers and to worship with people who want to be here and want to just do life together; then this is the place for you. We don't believe that programs do, nor vision casting/ brain washing, nor pharasaical works. Pastor Rosas seems to be a humble man, and the congregation as well. His wife helped with the children's service, where my 6yo son earned Bible bucks and played air hockey. Worship was not showy or loud. All the more reason to give glory to God and not the worship team. (We used to go to Mars Hill and we wish Marc and his family well. I learned a lot while I was there. Now that I am back in the neighborhood, it was nice to come back.The best thing is that the senior pastor, whom I went to college with, still teaches from the Bible. They have grown along with the growth of the neighborhood. It's really nice to see some familiar faces, which demonstrates the stability of the congregation. They have 4 services, each catering to a different style of worship. The early morning Sunday service worked very well for us. Nice to be back!

I was going through a difficult time personally, and the message of the morning really touched a note for me, bringing me to tears. Two other congregants, complete strangers to me at the time, sat on either side of me, holding my hands and offering me silent support. It meant more than words can say. Now, I'm the mother of two small children who attend classes in the Lighthouse, home to the RE program. They both love their experience there. My preschool son begs me to go to church! Thanks to the thoughtful curriculum, he is already becoming aware of what it means to be UU and is also becoming well-versed in the world's religions. My husband and I have found the minister, Rev. James Kubal-Komoto to be an inspiring leader, a thought-provoking teacher, an excellent speaker, and he possesses a great sense of humor to boot. While the church building may not be as gorgeous as some of the surrounding UU churches, it's the people that really make Saltwater a beautiful church. We have befriended some amazing people here and our spirits have grown immensely since we've joined the Saltwater community.

Huge main church room with great music amplification, lighting, and AV equipment. There's also a sort of fellowship hall/coffee room for post-service meet and greets, but we didn't stay for that part.
