He put me through 2 rounds of conditioning physical therapy without examining me (lifting and very physical work) telling me "You're sore but stable you need to retrain your brain". My former employer put me in laundry as light duty in a nursing home AND HE OK'ED IT!! At the end of our visits he told me that "[my] injury is as good as its going to get. [ I ] need to adjust my lifestyle." My husband was witness to most of the visits. We timed him. Avg visit was 15 min. He didnt do a physical examination until my 4th visit. On to a 2nd opinion turns out that the ulnar was loose!!! TENDONS WERE TORN!!! And I HAVE NERVE DAMAGE!!! THINK ABOUT THIS! LOOSE BONE AND FOLDING TOWELS FOR MONTHS ON END!!!! But I wouldn't want to do it anyplace other than SSM Physical Therapy in Des Peres. It's at a great location, right next to and in the same building as my surgeons office. The staff are knowledgeable of course but they are all funny, like I said therapy is hard and they take my mind off of the work. My sessions go by fast and my results are fantastic. Before my first surgery I felt like I was 99 years old and 5 months after I was hiking 7 and 8 miles at Yellowstone park. I can't believe I'd ever have come this far so fast. I had Mike Schmidt as my PT and I can not say enough good things about him. He was honest about everything I needed to do and he got me to my goals. Everyone who works there are fantastic from the front desk to the other therapists. They made my insurance company and my work requested paperwork go easy for me. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything to have gone any better.

I reached out to the Des Peres Eye Center as a new patient. I called the location (Arnold, separate…read morephone number) where I wanted to have my appointment. I confirmed that they took my insurance. When I arrived at my appointment, I learned that it was at the Manchester location. After driving across town to the Manchester location, I informed the receptionist that I called the Arnold location initially, but they set my appointment for the other location, but never told me. And that even though there are separate phone numbers for the two locations, they both go to the Manchester office, but there is nothing noting this. She didn't seem to care or realize the confusion this would cause. I then handed her my insurance card when she informed me that they don't take my insurance. She explained that they take the medical insurance with my company, but not the vision insurance (this is an eye center). At this point, I cancelled my appointment and left. Huge waste of time!
