When examining our roof, they found hail damage and assisted us in making a claim with our insurance company. They were very knowledgeable and took time to assist us with the claims process. When it came to replacing our roof, they showed up with a large crew, worked a long day, and had most of the roof off and replaced the first day. They picked up well at the end of the day and finished it up the next morning. They spent a lot of time the last day cleaning up to make sure that any debris was removed. They provided detailed quotes for each owner and staff took the time to discuss individual concerns with each owner on the phone. Very good upfront information and personal attention. Work was scheduled promptly and completed (including clean-up) in three days once started. Crew was very considerate throughout, minimized inconvenience with storage of materials and equipment, cleanup was quite thorough,and the quality of work seems to be first rate. Quality of the installation and the roof, itself, looks excellent. Only time will tell how well the roof holds up, as warranted. Charles, the salesman was a pleasure to deal with. Office staff were nice as can be. Ralph, the Superivisor was also great. My neighbor replaced his roof, with another contractor, over a year ago. His job took days to complete. I was finding nails and other debris, on my property, 6, 9 and 12 months after the job was finished. Deschutes completed my job in one day. They cleaned and left my property, immaculate. They also cleaned up neighboring properties. Except for 2 or 3 tiny shingle scraps, I have not found a single nail or any other Roofing debris. February 2023 We recently contracted with Deschutes Roofing in Bend Oregon for roof replacement. From the onset, the interaction we had with all personnel involved with this company was excellent. What first impressed us about 3 years ago we had a Deschutes Roofing sales person come to see if we needed a new roof yet. He was very honest and said we still had two to three years left on it. I solicited 3 different companies for a roof replacement, 3 skylights removed and a swamp cooler removal. Deschutes Roofing was the only one that was detailed and specific regarding materials, workmanship and warranties. Their estimate was also less than the other 2. They were able to complete the work in 1 day with some cleanup the next morning. Anyone I spoke with was accommodating and answered my questions. I also have decided to use their roof snow removal since my previous roof was damaged by myself and prefer not climbing up there anymore. The office staff are very nice and helpful. Very pleased with the work that was performed by Deschutes Roofing. The crew foreman was very conscientious about the quality of the new roof and doing things right. From improving roof airflow, proper application of flashing/drip edges and treatment for tight roof valley (in my case). Clean up after the job was also very thorough. I went around my home the next morning looking for construction remnants. The bits and pieces I could find fit in one hand! Deschutes Roofing did a complete re-roof for our home after the damage from the 2016/17 storms that hit Bend. We had major damage, loss of shingles, and serious leakage into the home. Their work was first-rate. With the use of copious amounts of ice shield, high quality shingles, and new ridge vents there is no doubt the roof will outlast its owners. We had hail damage to our roof. Discovered it as we were entering the winter and snow season. Contacted Deschutse Roofing and they came out , evaluated the situation , provided cost and schedule. They had a plan to protect our roof during the work if it snowed. They did our house in two days and cleaned up there debris as they worked.
