I'm 61 years old and extremely nervous of going to the dentist. Today those fears are gone. I just had the most relaxing, professional and honest experience ever with Dr. DeSenze and his staff. The Dr. and his staff were able to save an upper molar that had chipped and the filling fell out. It was pain free and I felt my self relaxing in the chair because of the outstanding chair side manner of the Dr and staff that made me feel like part of the office family. There was no up selling, just honest care of what was best for me as a patient. I'm forever grateful of the care I received and happy I walked into his Dentistry Office. Phenomenal experience! Dr.Desenze is such an amazing dentist. He really helped me when I needed it most. The front office was very helpful. Stacy was able to fit me in to the schedule earlier than expected and Monica went above and beyond to call the pharmacy for my prescription. The doctor's assistant Julia was absolutely lovely and gentle with the Xray process. Dr.DeSenze was very thorough and took care of my dental issues with the talent of a master in the medical arts. During this COVID stuff.... it's a crap shoot to find a new dentist. Well, I turned up aces when I found Dr. DeSenze!! What a great, personable and caring dentist. His staff is amazingly cool! Mind you... I had went in for an endoscopic procedure in Boca and they broke my front veneer when removing the dang scope!!! I had to find a dentist pronto!! My smile is everything to me so you can imagine my panic not knowing if I was going into a dentist who agreed to see me on an emergency basis and coming out looking like Mr. Ed (the talking horse). To top off everything I had one week to get it all fixed because I was traveling out of state for work! He and his staff moved mountains to get my tooth fixed and it looked great. What a professional and responsive office. Great customer service, caring friendly attitudes. Dr. DeSenze and his staff are to be commended. I was not a patient and they responded to my emergency right away. Filled out their online appointment form about 4AM and they called me at 8am and saw me at 11am the same day. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Phillip and his staff! After my dentist retired I thought I would never find another good one in SoFlo. I was dead wrong!!! After a toothache doc was not quick to take off the cap and yank the thing, he sent me for a CT that showed the danger of the infection and the staff immediately referred me to the Perio in the area. Doc is careful and will even see you on a Saturday if there is an issue. Doc Philip doesn't have office hours typically but when he found out how much pain I was in he wasted no time getting me on antibiotics and 880mg's of Motrin for the pain. The Doc and staff are truly dedicated to their profession and clients. Cleaning is painless and professional. I have issues with my teeth and don't trust many dental professionals as I have family in NY that have worked on me through my life so I know the difference between top dentist practitioners and lazy ones. Words cannot describe how much I love Dr. Desenze and the entire staff in his office! From the moment I called and spoke to Cathy, she was so sweet and helpful, and was even better in person at the front desk. She is very knowledgeable with almost anything and makes you feel very comfortable from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The office is very efficient with your time as well, which can be an important factor for some people. My first time in the office, Dr. Desenze took the time to talk to me and get to know me on a more personable level, rather than feeling like 'just another patient'. I never liked going to the dentist because they always seem to yell at you about what you're doing wrong, what needs to be done, etc. but Dr. Desenze takes such an amazing approach at nicely explaining everything that needs to be done, and the assurance that you're in great hands. I actually left feeling happy and not guilty! It is clearly evident that Dr. Desenze knows his stuff and has YEARS of experience with dental work. So far I've had a cleaning, x-rays, fillings and a tooth extraction. Through it all, the dental hygienists and everyone else made sure I felt comfortable during and days after it was all completed. From the sweet Office manager Cathy to the very competent, pleasant Lauren and of course, the Dr. himself, I cannot recommend them enough. Let's face it, no one likes going to the dentist. and my cleaning was fairly deep, but I felt they genuinely cared about my well being without trying to up sell or scam me into things I didn't want or need. My visit to DeSenze was one of the most pleasant dentist visits that I can recall. I came in for a cleaning and since it was my first visit, they took a lot of X-rays to check for cavities and such. First visits are discounted, which is nice. The cleaning was quick and painless, there were no unnecessary "deep cleaning" procedures. Everyone was lovely. They helped me to secure an appointment with an orthodontist for my wisdom teeth to be removed, and I will be returning to them to look into Invisalign. While visiting Miami, my root canal tooth got infected. Upon showing up to the clinic, I was well taken care of from checking in to exiting. The supporting staff was beyond fantastic and the dentist was very kind, took time to explain the causes a d option. I decided to pull my infected tooth. The experience was smooth, I was informed through out the procedure what's happening. I would highly recommend for anyone to go to this clinic. I researched dentists on my own, knowing I had to see one as a molar was bothering me. After my last experience being everything you don't want it to be. I emailed knowing it was a Saturday as my back molar had light consistent pain. I expected to get a call Monday. The dentists wife actually checked message and called me An hour later. She asked how bad the pain was or if it was an emergency as the dentist actually goes in on a Saturday in case of that. I'm feeling really good about my choice so far. I then get a call Monday from Kathy making an appointment for an molar and for teeth cleaning and X-rays. She got me in immediately. I needed a root canal the dentist sent me to a dentist who just does root canals then he would finish crown. I was 100%happy with the referral for that. I returned for crown and both of his assistants explained everything were thorough, extremely professional, friendly and welcoming. That all went well ,left with a temporary crown and returned two weeks later for my permanent crown which went quickly, flawlessly and uneventful. I then went for my cleaning which was the best teeth cleaning I ever had and only $99 for first visit. It had been over three years since I had been to dentist and knew I needed additional work on two more teeth. they discovered this on X-rays and recommended before they become a bigger problem for me. The price is very fair and competitive. I can truly say as business person who has won small Business of the Year in Florida. This place truly puts your dental care and customer service as a priority and that's from every employee. This is a team of professionals. A great dentist and a staff that makes him even better. My first time seeing Dr. DeSenze and I have to say, it won't be my last! I came here on vacation, and was recommended to his office for some work that I needed done. His facility was very relaxing, and had a "therapeutic feel" to it. Very clean and his staff was not only pleasant, they were very personable. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, and the dental assistant, made you feel comfortable (catered to your needs) and had a sense of humor so it made you feel more at ease and relieved of anxiety.
