Dave worked for four days, cleaned up the wash completely, cleared the brush, built a path across the top of the hill, took out all the brush, several trees, and everything looks great. He also gave me lots of advice about maintaining the property and made some great landscaping suggestions. Very reliable, he was here every day exactly when he said he would be. And on top of all that, he charged me an incredibly low price, far less than I was expecting to pay. Such great work we're having him come back after the holidays to do another section of the property. I highly recommend him.

It quickly became apparent that while Aaron seemed very knowledgeable, he was not "listening" to my needs. Instead, he was suggesting first doing an "audit" ($80 or more) to include using a drone to survey all my plants which would enable them to determine which circuits were irrigating what plants/trees (I already knew this), and suggesting I add a "smart" controller among other things. He eventually realized that I was not buying into his program and he suggested it would be best I go elsewhere. I totally agreed! In 28 yrs of selling and building swimming pools (159 in the Wickenburg area), I learned that winning the trust of customers and earning their business depended on first addressing THEIR needs and offering solutions. My requests: trim 2 mulberry trees (3rd one if he had the time), weed backyard and rake gravel / fill holes dug by dogs. What he accompished: trimmed 1 mulberry tree, weeded backyard and area by sidewalk. LIght raking, still generally looked the same. Hauled away brush to the dump. He worked 9 hours in one day; a plus because I don't like when landscapers can "only work" for 3 hours, a minus because I'm not sure if what he completed really required 9 hours. Price was (I think) reasonable at $16 an hour. $20 haul-away fee for dump. He was prompt and arrived at the time he stated he would, text me when he was finished and stopped back by the house for payment. His hours are very convenient, as he works 6 days a week (off Sunday) and seems to be flexible on scheduling. I would hire him again for things such as weeding and general yard maintenance but for heavy-duty yard work like tree-trimming, dirt moving, etc I would go with a more experienced (and better equipped) company. He seemed limited by what he could do due to his lack of equipment. For example: he couldn't trim the one tree in its entirety because the branches were too high up and his ladder could not reach and couldn't trim another tree because he didn't have a chainsaw.
