We met several of her nurses and were impressed with their bedside manners. They really took good care of my MIL. The hospital is easy to navigate and has a terrific parking structure within walking distance. And a Starbucks open until midnight during the week. I had to hunt people down to get care for my 86 yr old mother. My mother had to sit in her urine. They didn't have a BP monitor or oxygen monitor on her for hours. The oxygen tank wasnt even turned on. When they did finally put the monitors on her BP was 192/78 oxygen 89 Blood work and test results several hours. My family has used several ER's in the valley and this was the worst experience by far.

I can tell they take pride in ensuring everything is sterile and pristine for every procedure. Marisa is also great! She truly listens to how I'm feeling and always knows what's best to try next to relieve my pain. Even the girls up front are awesome! Tiffany and Brittany are very knowledgable and have great answers to the many questions I have. Brittany is always my go to girl with some of the complications I've had with my insurance. So I did my usual and went to Dr Evan. He asked me to do a liver, gallbladder cleanse said it would also get rid of my gallstones which I did not know I even had, and to give up coffee (that was the stinger). I did the cleanse and gave up coffee for a week nothing happened. So I gave up, the rash got worse. I had to do something Dr Evan said do liver cleanses till all the gallstone were gone. I just did my 6th liver, gallbladder cleanse, I found a great decaffeinated coffee tastes like regular coffee (Solar Roast Coffee). I only had a few gallstones this time. So I'm good for another year, I was doing them monthly so many stones came out on the previous flushes, so many I got worried and googled how many stones a person can have? Google said thousands, I had probably had thousands. The rash is almost all gone AND I had a little psoriasis too (for about 35 years and that is almost gone). This was the first clinical trial I have ever done and I was expecting someone to explain the trial to me, the pay, and what the study entailed. No one ever explained any of that to me. After waiting for about 20 minutes someone came and got me and said I was going to do some sort of breathing test. Nothing was set up or ready to go so I had to wait in the exam room while the nurse set everything up and for his computer to boot up. I performed the breathing test and was told to wait in the waiting room. I waited while the nurse tended to other things and then after about 5 or 10 minutes he said, "I'm going to give all this to the doctor and we'll let you know if you qualify for the study." Why couldn't he have just said that when we were in the exam room instead of having me wait in the waiting room? I still haven't heard from anyone regarding my results so I'm assuming I didn't qualify for their study. I likely won't do anymore clinical trials as this was a huge waste of time and the office seems rather unorganized. I hate it when someone tells me something is going to happen and then it doesn't happen. Don't promise things you can't deliver on.

We went to Arizona General on Ellsworth and Elliot. From the minute we walked in to register until I left there was pleasant helpful staff. We arrived around 9pm, Emily at registration was kind and quickly got me registered. About two minutes later I starting receiving text updates about my wait time. These texts continued throughout my stay in the ED, keeping me up to date on my progress. AND, this morning I received another text offering help to find a PCP and make a follow up appointment!! The Triage team saw me within 20 minutes, and about 10 minutes later I was called back to a room. Dr. Okafor came into the room, listened to my symptoms, and immediately told me he would be ordering a CT scan and blood work. All the tests, blood work, CT scan, were done so quickly, I was truly astonished. Gratefully, nothing was seriously wrong, and I was informed I'd be going home. Karla, RN, explained all my discharge paperwork instructions very clearly, my IV was removed, and we were on our way home. This entire process was so quick and efficient! We arrived around 9 pm and we were back in our home at 12:03 am, this is including our drive time. I got to the back my nurse Adam was awesome !! he has a great personality and made me feel comfortable as though I was a member of his own family. My Operating Room Nurse was Amy she made everything run effortlessly smooth and kept me comfortable , My Anesthesiologist was Dr Tuttle he was very reassuring about the whole process which made my nerves settle down tremendously. My aftercare Nurses were Kim and Ashton they were very helpful and comforting and made checkout a breeze.My doctor Dr Myo was very straightforward and knowledgeable. And finally the facility... it was very clean and comfortable ,you can really tell they care very much about their patients and families because the waiting room was stocked full of all the things you would need while waiting for your loved one.
