He placed me on mediations and gave me some tips on reducing inflammation and exercise. I have been taking the mediations and following his advice and I kid you not, I felt almost 100% by the second day of treatment. This was a problem that affected me for months and my pcp could not figure it out. Well, the quality of care and attention I got at Choi Urology was amazing. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. Dr. Choi set me up with an office exam that was a little uncomfortable but not painful. Afterwards Dr Choi made a recommendation, a procedure called a UroLift. My problem was that I would urinate but never feel empty and might dribble for minutes. I am now 8 weeks out from my procedure. I am no longer dribbling, I am peeing like a race horse. Patients then have to endure lack of phone, email or SMS answers and a failure to follow through. At first I tried to schedule surgery and was told I had a tentative date pending communication from my cardiologist, but they did not tell me that they had information that allowed my surgery. So I scheduled another surgery. Then they called to schedule their surgery which conflicted. And they seemed annoyed! Ultimately I had the surgery and my post-op papers indicated I should have a two week follow-up. At no time did the practice contact me to initiate that appointment. I finally tried to contact them to set up an appointment, because I thought it was necessary. I made 10 attempts to make contact and finally, after the last attempt (which included numbers on my post-op papers that were cut off every time), I finally got a call from a representative who simply tried to cover her ass and refused to accept that she was at fault. And I got no appointment. I am actually experiencing some complications and plan to sue the if I end up in the hospital.

From the receptionist to the prep nurse to the anthologist to the surgeon, everyone was polite, cheerful and professional. My prep nurse, Natalie, was especially attentive to my needs. Both the anthologist and surgeon met with me and my wife prior to surgery and took the time to answer any and all questions professionally while still at a level that a layperson could easily grasp. Even after I returned home they were helpful in getting me my meds and dressings sorted out. I would point out that, as I write this, all of the low ratings are NOT about the facility or care, but about problems with insurance coverage. I can only speak to my case, but Camp Lowell Surgery Center led me through the billing process well in advance so that a week before my surgery I had all my ducks in a row, including pre-approval from all three of my providers.

Beware: predatory facility . They charged five times the…read morecopay and billed my insure 10 times the cost ...for exact same laser procedure on my right eye versus left done at another facility by the same doctor. Apparently they think calling it a surgery center justifies a massive $500 copay for a 15 minute laser eye treatment, plus 3k bill to insurer; while at the other facility, for same process on my other eye, copay was only $120 and insure was billed only $450.

My PCP was very casual about getting to the bottom of my initial symptoms concerning my kidney, therefore by the time (6 months) it was treated by Dr. Berry, cancer cells had moved downstream to the bladder. However, Dr. Berry was not casual about anything. He pursued every anomaly quickly and effectively. The fact I'm still kicking at 88, and have enjoyed the last 11 years with no further cancers is a testament to his skills. Many of the reviews talk about bad experiences with back office personnel. I'm not surprised in that back office skills seem to aggravate both doctors and patients in the Tucson area. Speaks more to the business management folks than the doctors.

Sent home to almost die a few hours later. Don't come here. They don't care. I saw Sean Maley. Update: In response to the comment from this business, I called more than once after I regained my ability to speak in full sentences, and I asked why I was given medication without my knowledge and I just got a bunch of "I don't knows" and "I don't think they'd do that" even after I was sent a survey regarding my visit, I was asked if I wanted a call back, I said yes and I never received one. So I don't know what speaking to this facility again would do to help me in anyway. I even requested my medical records from this facility, and I was never told that the doctor believed I had a serious condition even though it was entered in my notes. And of course, it ended up being exactly that, but I was never told. I am an adult and I should've been told all of this information and not found out later by reading doctors notes. And I also read in my notes that I left with a 2 out of 10 pain. I never ever told anyone that my pain was below a 10. Their "legal counsel " isn't licensed to practice law in the state of AZ.
