I should have trusted the other reviews here when I ordered online. My mother has had some bad floral delivery experiences the last couple of years from various vendors in Goodyear as I ordered from out of state on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. I thought having a pick up would be better than past deliveries...I was wrong. I ordered a belated Valentine's Day bouquet online for my father to pick up so my mom would have a nice end to a week. Received the confirmation email and said the flower would be ready before close at 5pm local time. I didn't receive an email but told my father to head over anyway as automated email systems can be glitchy. I received a call at 4:45 local time where he told me "The doors are locked and it looks like they are closed for the day." Very disappointed and will be calling in the morning to ask for a refund...if they aren't closed. read more

My father, always got my mother lavender roses on their anniversary so I've been sending them to her in his stead since he passed away in 2015. None of them have ever been as beautiful as those sent by Desert Oasis. Every flower in the bouquet is perfect and fragrant, and placed beautifully by Yolanda. Delivered by Andrea who also gave me a follow up call to make sure we were satisfied with what we received. Excellent product, excellent artistry, and excellent customer service. I have never been so disappointed and dissatisfied with quality and service in my life. I had to be out of town for my mom's birthday and I wanted to make sure she got something great on her birthday to surprise her. I figured spending $120.00 I'd get something nice. I order 5 balloons as well and we discussed colors but as u can see in the picture my mom never received them. When I called they said there is no balloons on the order. So I paid $120 for that? Wow! The picture shows roses. There is not one single rose in my mom's arrangement. The flowers were burned upon arrival and they didn't want to give me a refund. The owner wouldn't even talk to us. The only hope is that we called our credit card company and submitted all the facts and pictures that day for a full refund. I would never use this place again nor do I get how they are in business. The card even has 2 typos. And mom is a typo that shouldn't have happened. Her birthday was ruined. And I'm out $120.00. I wish I could give them 0 stars. If they have any good reviews it's from friends or employees. This place is awful. EDIT: In response to Ellen replying to me by burnt flowers I mean exactly what is shown on the pictures I posted. All the greenery was sent out burnt, dried out. And I'm pretty sure that everyone will agree that is no where near $120 arrangement. I received a dozen roses for my 30th anniversary from my husband. He paid 100.00 so after a few days half the roses were dead. I called and they were very nice about sending me a new dozen. The flowers have not lasted a week again and none of the roses opened. I just feel for 100.00 they should open and last longer than a 20.00 arrangement from the grocery store. In trying to support a local business I placed an on-line order here for delivery of flowers on my sister's birthday two days before. I received an e-mail from someone named Cynthia that they could not deliver in time, were going to refund my money and to find someone else. The problem was because this e-mail was not from "Desert Oasis Floral", but from a random person's name, the e-mail went into my spam folder so I did not see it until a few days after the flowers were supposed to be delivered. The e-mail was one sentence with no apology, no phone call and no option to even pick something else. If I had received a phone call in time I would have gladly picked something else if I had been given the opportunity. As a business owner myself I would never treat a customer like this. I found this extremely unprofessional and my sister thought we forgot her birthday. BEWARE, if you are getting flowers delivered..... It might be better to find someone else. read more

I am so torn on this review...we chose to use Cynthia and Desert Oasis for our wedding because it was in close proximity to everything. We had arranged all flowers for the big day except for the cake. About a month before the big day, we arranged to have four dozen rose buds for the layers on our cake, in addition to our previously arranged order. The flowers for the wedding party, as well as our parents, and my bouquet, were simply gorgeous. However, when we got to our reception site, we had ten rose buds. We received only a quarter of the amount for which we had placed the order. I never did receive any kind of receipt for the additional flowers, which is my fault. However, four dozen roses is not cheap, and I was stuck with over $100 worth of additional costs - and a paltry looking wedding cake. It was embarrassing, and very costly. read more

this florist is absolutely unethical. As you can see by others who have reviewed Desert Oasis Floral, the service and quality of their product is lower than poor at the bottom of a scale. It is unfortunate that FTD has them listed as a qualified florist. What is happening in America? What is causing small business owners to not take pride in their customer satisfaction for service and products rendered. I am truly shocked by the quality of service and what this company must considered beautiful floral design. How is it possible for a small business to keep its door open, when it has repeated poor reviews. Is it due to the exorbitant delivery fees. $17.99 to deliver a substandard arrangement less than 3 miles? I really do not think this shop will remain in business for long. Well, ordered flowers for Valentine's Day to help a friend out. So I placed the call and handled things for them. Today is 2/22/18 - recipient still have not received her flowers, have placed 3 phone calls and left 3 messages and still do NOT have a call back and answer as to why. Friend is calling credit card company and requesting a refund on their credit card as we cannot get an answer. Seriously have some issues with customer service of this caliber. read more

I had a very positive experience in January of 2014 with a $120 bouquet for my wife's birthday. Based upon that experience, I ordered the premium version of "Dance With Me" bouquet which, according to the photo 16 red roses and 16 carnations in a vase delivered for Valentine's Day. I placed the order 3 weeks in advance. They were to deliver the bouquet to the front door if my wife was not home as they did in January. Even though she was home all afternoon and evening, no one came to the front door. I came home at 6:00pm and looked around - no flowers. At 9:00pm we went outside and found the bouquet in our driveway. However, it got worse. The bouquet consisted of 3 roses and 6 carnations. Not even remotely close to the photo on their website. The one star above is because it was easy to order online. On Saturday the 15th, I called Desert Oasis. The person that answered said they could help me. I said I was very dissatisfied with the bouquet as it was not even close to the photo. I also pointed out that on the website, there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee. That person put me on hold to consult with someone else. When she came back, I was told "The designer did the best she could". My response was that was not acceptable. I reminded the person of the guarantee. Her response was I had to accept the bouquet that was delivered as the designer did the best she could and their substitution policy allowed them to replace what I ordered with a bouquet of comparable quality and value. I said are you telling me you consider 3 roses comparable to 16, 6 carnations comparable to 16? I was again told the designer did the best she could. No other options were available such as replacement or refund. I said I would dispute the charge on my credit card (which I did). Her reply was "Do what you have to do." NEVER EVER EVER doing business with this company again! I placed an order online to have the flowers delivered at 3pm. I placed this order at 10am and they managed to mess it up. I called 3 times asking where the flowers were and they told me the delivery guys are on their way. It's already 6pm and they close at 5pm and still my mom didn't get her flowers for Mother's Day. Apparently the lady who took my order wrote it down to be delivered tomorrow. I understand it's a simple mistake that can happen to anyone, but when she already remembers who I am when I keep calling, she still wasn't able to figure out that she made a mistake? My mom is leaving for a cruise so I won't be able to see her on Mother's Day and I wanted to do something nice, but this business screwed everything up for my mom and I. Never doing business with them again. If you don't do time reservations maybe you shouldn't have that option online to write it at or be more specific because I had no idea. I am soooo upset with my experience. I went there for my wedding flowers because it was close to my home. A lot of the flowers I wanted, they couldn't get, it took weeks for them to even let me know so I couldn't go anywhere else. The bouquet I got looked nothing like the flowers I wanted., not even the same colors. My colors were pink and I got orange. Then to top it off, before the wedding even started I had flowers falling out of the bouquet itself so I had to pause during pictures to try and put them back in. awful customer service. i asked for a invoice to be emailed (twice) to me and the rude person who answered the phone was reluctant and rude. they could only do it by fax??? who the heck still uses a fax machine?? oh and her cell phone apparently could not take a picture. next time ask for your customers info and have someone else take a picture of it to send to them and leave the attitude at home. you just lost a large company's business, zero stars!! read more
