I have been looking for a florist near me and I wish I would have found one here, but instead, my search continues. I popped in about a month ago to order an arrangement for a funeral that I was attending. I described what I wanted and was shown an arrangement in the case that was very popular for a sympathy gift. The arrangement in the case was beautiful and just what I was looking for. I paid in full and made plans to pick up the arrangement a few days later. When I picked up the arrangement later that week, I saw it and was immediately disappointed. It looked nothing like what I was shown at my last visit. I was in a rush and didn't have time to complain. I realize this is my fault and they likely would have fixed matters. Instead of a beautiful sympathy arrangement, it was now the day of the funeral and I had a vase that looked like it had one of everything in it. It didn't seem like it was worth the price I paid. Supporting small businesses is so important, but I feel like I was let down here. read more

I usually use FTD for ordering flowers for my mom, but they managed to botch several Thanksgiving orders; consequently, I decided to pull up Yelp and see what local florists I could find to surprise my mom with some holiday cheer for our first Covid Christmas. Thankfully, Sun City Florists came up and Yelp had their website listed. The florist's website said they were taking holiday orders by phone only for delivery December 23 and 24. They had four pictures of holiday arrangements that they were focusing on for these deliveries. This is exactly what I had in mind. The fewer the choices, the quicker and easier the decision. A woman answered the phone right away to take my order. She briefly went over the options available and I settled on a centerpiece with candles because I know my mom loves to dress up the table whether it's a meal for a dozen or just one. The florist got all of the necessary information. I was a little annoyed that she didn't repeat back the delivery address to make sure she got it correct. However she did repeat back the billing information which showed me that that was what was most important to her. I just hope she wasn't standing in front of customers in the store reading off my credit card details for everyone to take note. Anyway, my mom informed me that she received the centerpiece and loved it! She shared a picture of it and said she would probably take it over to her friend's house the next day, as they were getting together for lunch. My first time ordering flowers to send to my "second mom," who was in need of cheering up. Normally I send chocolates, but those can take a few days to get there. Flowers delivered the same day as we spoke, well that's a great way to show support and caring. Ordered a $122 floral arrangement for my sister in laws 3 hr memorial and did not recognize which flowers I ordered. Took pictures to see if the delivery was missed. Upon calling to discuss the dismal arrangement of brown and wilted flowers I was asked why I waited so long to call. Pictures of what I thought I was ordering and what arrived were so different I was truly shocked. This is something that cannot be corrected as the memorial for the love of my brother's life is over. Seemed like a great deal online and when it arrived it was much smaller than anticipated. Should just maybe state it's a $40 bouquet vs a $70 bouquet "on sale".
