He began this job, which he said would take about 5 hours on 11/19/25. On 11/28/25, we sent him a letter demanding that the work be completed by 12/5/25. After promising to complete the job 4 or 5 times, we hired another contractor to remove the stump, fill in the crater (I kid not) and replace rocks. Vela is incompetent and it was very frustrating to deal with him. We sent him a demand letter to refund a portion of our payment to him, and did not receive any funds.
