He,also, showed me the different tanning lotions and what each tanning lotion does. I've been to a lot of tanning salons and would rate this as one of the best. I had a monthly subscription and went regularly until one day I had a family gathering. I stopped in really quick and for the first time, hung my dress on the provided hook. Generally, I just laid my clothes over the chair, but this was my favorite dress that wrinkles easily. It did not occur to me that the fan was right there. Well, you guessed it, the fan sucked the hem of my dress in and literally shredded it. They refused to compensate me for it. Called me a liar several times and then offered me $16.00 for a $120.00 dress simply because I didn't have the receipt for a garment I purchased over a year ago. I have always loved the service here. I've been coming to this place for almost 10 years and the gal there now is my favorite. She isn't sales pitchy she is straight up and not overly fake nice like some of the folks use to be. It's refreshing. She always remembered my name when I walk in the door and I only tan once every two or three months. She is always helpful when picking out a mini lotion when I forget mine and doesn't try to upsell me on things. This is why I will continue to go to this place. Keep up the good work. i have been going to desert sun for a few years. in june i bought a package for 2 months and the 3rd week in june i had to suspend my membership. i called to cancel and told i was to late in calling. i had always cx this way. the girl argued with me and was rude. i kept my cool and the last thing i said was " and your going to cancel august and she said yes. so august 1st they took out 70.00 for august. i called and talked to the manager and she told me this person told me i had to come in and sign to cancel.she never told me but entered in the computer that she had said this to me and insinuated i was lying. business there must be bad so basically i donated 130.00 to this joint. if i would have read these reviews i never would have joined again. and yes i'm typing in caps!. adios desert sun! read more

My mom went in today to redeem a Groupon that was gifted to her. She did this before and ended up buying a package over a year ago and was hoping to do the same thing. The girl working told her no initially because she wasn't a new customer. After speaking to her manager she said she would honor it since it had been over a year since she had been there. Then after being super rude to my mom she completely denied her service all together since apparently she was being "disrespectful." My mom never raises her voice or is rude to people. She was just trying to understand how to redeem her gift. The girl working probably just assumed she wasn't going to make much commission so she didn't want to help my mom. The last time I was there myself I just went in for a spray tan and the girl working was also super rude so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same girl. My friends and I went to get a spray tan here, we usually get the vista machine, but the nice girl working told us we cannot use that machine. So we ended up using the Mystic spray tan machine. I was the first to get mine done, and the machine was not clean at all, the bottoms of all three of our feet were deep orange/brown color from the excess spray on the bottom of machine. We had to go out and buy a scrub bar to get it off. Also our tans are very uneven and splotchy. Very inconvenient and do not recommend using this machine. read more

I love going here. I've never had to wait. Someone always greets me right away and someone always says goodbye and thanks when I leave, or something similar. It's clean, I've never had to wait for a level 2 bed. It's affordable, the staff is very friendly and informed. I'm so glad I went here on a whim and did not yelp it first. I've been coming here almost a month and every girl working that's helped me has been really friendly and down to earth. I always wipe down the bed when I get in the rooms just to wipe off any cleaning product, definitely not because it looks like I need to, so far every room has looked pretty sparkly clean. Also, there has been maybe two times that the line had looked long but the girls just knocked em out, I've never had to stand for more than a couple minutes (max). Thanks guys! read more

It's not the cleanest Desert Sun I've been to... The beds after being cleaned are still dirty. Some of the staff aren't very people orientated or friendly. With tanning being so bad for you and less and less people are tanning you would think their prices would be better. read more
