Bottom line this shop did a BAD, hastily done and REALLY overpriced gel manicure. There are FAR better manicurists in Battle Ground-they may not be as fancy inside but I prefer to have a good manicure vs. a crappy overpriced one so the decor was useless to me (except I suspect the high prices charged help pay for all the matching chairs and TV's blah blah..) Oh yeah and I discovered when I was paying they also do a two dollar surcharge ON TOP of me paying 40 bucks for a lousy manicure. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have always felt very comfortable-I have the personality that needs to be distracted and we have talked about just about everything. ( I believe if you're not a talker Jessyca would respect that too. ) Her products are natural and I have NEVER had **any** kind of reaction to the waxes or coloring (to my brows.) While there is some initial pain in any waxing process, Jessyca does all to make sure any discomfort is minimal ( and I can say for each process it has been minimal. I do not have fine hair or thick skin.... ) It has been my experience that before each *application* Jessyca ensures the wax is not too hot and you are ready. She also does not leave an area until you are ready. The pain is A LOT LESS than traditional waxing AND has always subsided before I left the studio (I have felt pain a lot longer using traditional waxes and had reactions too. I have also NOT noticed any other client in any kind of distress or discomfort.) I also feel Jessyca's pricing is very competitive. She also has never had a "pushy" upsell manner. She has always made recommendations to proceed/wait based on hair length (I feel confident she won't recommend any unnecessary service) I wholeheartedly recommend Jessyca of Canela Sugar and wish her the biggest successes for many years.
