Nick Nigosian's legacy is celebrated through the annual Nick Nigosian Memorial Car Show, which benefits local charities and honors his passion for cars and agriculture. Nick owned a beautiful 1926 Buick, which is featured as a significant part of the car show's 2026 event, marking the car's 100th anniversary! The car show, organized by the Palm Springs Cruisin' Association and Nicks son,Michael Negosian,draws large crowds and supports local causes-a testament to Nick's impact on the community. The event benefits organizations like the Friends of the Date Festival, which supports 4H, FFA, and agriculture students showing animals at the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival. Taking place date grove at The Palm Desert Aquatic Center pays tribute to Nick's lifelong passion for agriculture and growing dates. She took out almost three year old from a lifelong hatred of getting her face wet... to gleefully jumping in the water, and able to swim short distances. Melissa is fun, patient, knowledgeable and creative and our daughter loved her classes. And as a bonus, Melissa is the perfect concierge for the Coachella Valley. But I don't find it lacking in equipment or facilities with way more things that I even want to use. I have read more than one review saying the staff is curt and unfriendly but they have all always been gracious to me. I'm always greeted with a welcome, have a good work out and exit with a Have a good rest of your day. I'm pushing 70 years old and even the youngest staff members are always friendly towards me. I toured a few of the other health club/gyms when I first moved to the area but In-Shape fit my needs best. I overheard in conversation among other club members they are expanding the facility. I never think to ask the staff so not sure what is going on there. Would be nice if they added a mini-basketball court.
