Unfortunately they ran out of tofu so I ordered regular tofu (not the same), but I thought the BYO breakfast sandwich was decent. I also ordered a hot latte which came out cold. I can count on one hand the amount of times I sent something back at a restaurant - I sent it back. It came out as cool as the other side of the pillow. Located in a strip mall, with ample free parking, we found this little gem. There was a 20% off check-in offer that convinced us to give them a shot. On entry, we were asked if we'd been in before & given process instructions. Fast Casual - cool. Easy enough: take menus, sit (inside or out) and pick, return to the counter to order & pay (show check-in offer when ordering), take your table number & sit back down. Your food comes out, you eat, clear your table & exit. Don't think that means you'll be ignored tho. The staff are happy to help! Service was fast, staff are friendly & in excellent spirits - no grumpy people either day. Bonus for remembering us on our return. Prices were reasonable for quality & servings plenty big. They initially forgot the drinks on our 1st visit, then refunded them for the delay. This wasn't necessary but was appreciated. I mean, we did come back the next day, both to show our appreciation & because it really was fabulous. Those dippy d's - so simple, yet so good. A friend and I popped in for brunch on a beautiful winter day and sat outside on the back patio. I found ordering to be a little confusing since the menu on the screen alternated so quickly between food and beverages that it seemed almost impossible to read more than one word at a time, and then wait for the desired screen to come back on. I went with the huevos rancheros and my friend got the cubano quesadilla. I ordered green chili and another sauce with my heuvos rancheros, and I noticed that there was not any sauce when my dish came out; I asked my server and she said the sauce was on top of the masa cake and that I would find it once I dug in, but unfortunately, no chili/sauce was ever found. The masa cake was tasty, but without a sauce to tie it together, the dish seemed a bit just like a traditional egg and potato breakfast skillet, not bad, but also not necessarily what I was after. I had a bite of my friend's cubano quesadilla with pork belly and avocado and oh man that was good...I would get that next time! Visited this location after New Years and was impressed with the creativity of the food items. We were very grateful they were open and serving food. You order at the counter and wait for your food at your table. The environment is very laid back and causal. We went with our 3 year old and felt very comfortable with him being loud. There were a few families there as well. They have a variety of drinks, we ordered a hot chocolate and a hot chai that were amazing. My 3 year old drank 2 hot chocolates. We felt like we were able to order a meal for our child he enjoyed. We also enjoyed the "Dippy D's" which were delicious. They have a variety of indulgent items and items on the healthier side which our party appreciated. Will be back if we are in the area. I don't think I've ever before been so impressed with a restaurant on first visit. We were on a trip to Colorado visiting relatives, and used Yelp(!) to find a good place for brunch. I'm so glad we did. Hollan Dazed looks like a typical bistro-in-strip-center. Finding the place and parking was no problem, and considering we went there on Thanksgiving, we were happy both that they were open and that they were not overrun with customers. Ordering is done through your phone, by scanning a barcode, selecting your items, and finalizing / placing your order. I'm old school and prefer menus, but this method worked fine for us. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; charming, in fact. And the food! My goodness, it was excellent. I wish I had taken photos of everything. We had the french toast sticks which were wonderful -- delicious and crunchy. I had the cubano quesadilla, also delicious, and lots of it. Family members had the breakfast burrito, huge but all eaten, and the Boomer breakfast. A late arrival had the avocado toast, whose photo I have included. I finally realized I HAD to review this place, but too late to photograph the other dishes. The food came out quickly enough, and prices were perfectly reasonable for the quality. Possibly it was a _little_ more expensive than my normal fast casual, but let me be clear, I wasn't thinking about that when we left. I was thinking about what a great meal I had just had, and how fortunate I felt to have landed on such a great place when visiting from out of town. You want some quibbles? OK. I'm not a big fan of the modern tip-before-you're-served style. I assume that the restaurant would tell me I was welcome to tip after, but the ordering system has a spot for the tip before the meal, so you feel like that's the way you're supposed to do it. The restaurant was a bit cold; I noticed I wasn't the only one who kept his jacket on during the meal. Maybe that's Colorado style? And I think it's fair to say the men's room could use a little sprucing up. But I don't go to a restaurant for those things. I go there for the food, and to some extent for the service, and Hollan Dazed came through in spades -- so much so that we went there again two days later, and being creatures of habit, ordered all the same stuff! Travelled across town and found this true gem of a breakfast find! It's tucked in a shopping center and worth every bit of the out-of-the-way food treasure hunt. It's a casual restaurant. Meaning, in this case, you order from the counter, sit and food is brought to you. The staff is delightful and helped us in choosing from the very interesting menu. We began with the Dippy D's after a neighboring table recommended them. Try them -- they're small sugared donuts that are served with terrific dipping sauces. Yummm. Hubby chose Huevos Rancheros that he declared some of the best he's had. I chose the Avocado Toast that was amazing as well. Latte was exceptional. After observing the staff warm interactions I had to ask if it was a family business -- which it is. In all the best ways. This place has so much potential to be great if they could only be consistent on the food cook. Right now I'm at 3.5 stars for Hollan-Dazed. I just seems like every time we dine here something is off. For example one time the malasadas were really greasy/soggy (seemed like the fry temp was maybe not correct). Another time my eggs Benedict that I asked for over easy eggs was over cooked and hard. These small issues did not ruin the meal for me. Our last trip, my daughter who is 4 1/2 didn't care for her sausage, we just simply mentioned it, with no expectations, our server had the cook get a-little bag of bacon for her as we were heading out! Hollan Dazed is awesome. Right up the road from my house and I'm glad I made the short trek. The portions were large for the amount it costed and both tasted amazing. Took some of it home even for lunch and I usually eat everything at once. The coffee was great and priced accordingly and the employees all had good vibes. Def will be back! Lost a star because the delivery instructions were not followed. Once again, warm food left on a frozen porch and the bell wasn't even rung. How in the world is someone supposed to know its there if they don't ring the bell. I ordered the Dippy D's. I misunderstood that 1 was not the serving size it is 1 donut. I am not much of a pulled pork fan, so when I choose bacon I thought I was getting a burrito with bacon as the meat. I ended up with bacon and pulled pork. I paid an extra $2 bucks for bacon that was so fatty it wasn't even edible. I had to pull the burrito part and remove the bacon just to eat it. However, I will say that the flavor saved it. DARN tasty burrito. I got the green chili and the hollandaise sauce which were both very good! Where do I start? The TACs (potatoes) are a great twist on breakfast potatoes, a little crunch on the outside and a lot of fluffy potato on the inside. Couple that with the seasoning salt and the sauce and it's an addicting combination. The byo breakfast sandwich is crave worthy! The brioche bun was fresh and had the perfect light buttery crispness. Maybe don't get your eggs over medium if you don't want a mess! The smoked tofu is a nice option for vegetarians & vegans. I selected the garlic and smoked paprika sauces. Amazing flavor profile with the bitterness of the arugula. The vegetarian style big burrito was satisfying but they forgot to include the sauces on the side. Oh well, we still had sauce from the TACs, so it wasn't too big of a bummer. The hot chipotle Bloody Mary is truly hot! Heat lovers rejoice and enjoy! Came here for breakfast with our friends who has a one year old. The staff was incredibly welcoming and didn't have a problem with a one year old roaming around exploring. They even waved and made sure a high chair was available. I got the drip coffee black, BYO breakfast sandwich with pork belly and green sauce, and the French toast sticks. Coffee was so good and exactly what I needed, BYO breakfast sandwich was also great especially with the brioche bread they use. The French toast sticks were over cooked and a hard as rock. Our friends who we were with said usually they're better and not burnt or hard so maybe it deserves a better try. Overall I would come here again and recommend this place for breakfast. One thing I wanted to note was there's only a changing table in the women's restroom and not one in the men's restroom. Our friend who is a dad noticed this and since we were finished eating we decided to head home instead to take care of business for his kid. This is the most confused menu, confused service, and confused concept overall for a breakfast place. I have lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and was always wondering about this place, but now I know why none of my friends who've lived here for years have never been here. I ordered the breakfast burrito. The pulled pork was old, greasy, and too chewy. Even the chai tea latte was watered-down and tasteless. I will say their "Portuguese donuts" were good. Another odd thing about the place is you must order and pay on your phone before you get anything. There is no table service and you don't have a designated server which adds to your negative experience. They seem to bave a back patio but its worn down and mismanaged. Decided to give this spot a try after we went hiking in Boulder. Chose this restaurant since it had an outdoor patio that was dog friendly (we had 2 with us). Our part of 4 had to wait 25-30 minutes for an outdoor table. While many may have complained that there was plenty of room available to just seat us, we understood that staffing is limited in most establishments these days so they can only move tables so quickly. Went here today with my wife and we had a really nice time. The environment is low key. I personally love the ability to order ahead of time and sit down to wait for the food. I was under the impression that we would have to grab our own drinks and food when they came out but the person working the counter was nice and brought it to us. Actually everyone we interacted with that worked there was super nice. We ordered drinks, a starter, and our meals. I ordered a horchata and added a shot of espresso and that was maybe one of my favorite coffee drinks that I have had in awhile, the horchata was flavorful and I will literally take coffee in anything. My wife and I shared the T.A.C.s and that was maybe my highlight as far as food goes. The salty yet sweet chips were delicious and made extra savory by the sauce it came with, tasted like a really well prepared spicy mayo. For my main, I ordered the Cubano Quesadilla and once again that side sauce made it sing. I thought the flavors of the actual quesadilla were good but it was a bit egg heavy for me. I wish it had more meat but I can see why they filled it up with egg instead, cheaper. I also could have had it spicier but I'm a spice demon so that might be on me. I would like to go back to Hollan-Dazed for breakfast cocktails (which we didn't get this time) and some starters. Maybe I would try that burrito bowl... PROS: The food is REALLY good. I've tried the breakfast burrito with both bacon and shredded pork. Both variations were delicious. The pork was tender and flavorful. The bacon was crispy and delicious (and I do like crispy bacon in my breakfast burritos). The green chili was flavorful (a lot of places have mediocre green chili, but this was pretty good). The service was good and several of the folks who worked there were SUPER friendly, which was awesome. Finally, the ambiance was nice and the pricing reasonable. CONS: Even when you eat there (and they do offer full wait service), they use to-go disposable dinnerware (think plastic forks and such). I feel this cheapens the dining experience. Also harder to cut pieces of meat and such. Not the end of the world (and this might be a temporary thing they're doing during COVID/labor shortage), but it is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars. OTHER THOUGHTS: Their menu isn't very large, although I don't see this as an issue, since a smaller menu means it's easier for them to offer the highest quality by focusing on a few truly great dishes. I actually find that restaurants that offer a vast menu often struggle with offering the best food given the sheer breadth of their menu. read more

This restaurant is going through a change from being a sit down waited experience to a more fast casual experience. I'm into that, but I did notice some of the older clientele struggled with the amount of options and how the system really worked. An unassuming strip mall brunch spot tucked between a tax place and some kind of gym, but the food here was much better than you might expect. Lots of restaurants will call something "Cubano" and miss the mark by a good distance, but the Cubano Quesadilla at Hollan Dazed captured the essence of a Cuban sandwich while remixing some of the ingredients/presentation to make it unique. For example, they replaced the pickle with a jalapeño relish which was so finely minced- and thoroughly deseeded so it didn't blow my face off- that it makes me think someone in the kitchen really knows what they're doing. I also got to try a bite of the french toast sticks which, fresh, were kind of incredible. The caramelized sugar on the outside provided a deep caramel-y crunch and you could actually taste the whiskey in the whiskey maple zabaglione. So good. I will say that after sitting for maybe 30 minutes the deep fried sticks took on a much oilier texture/flavor, so eat them fast. Shouldn't be hard to do. Our service was friendly and attentive enough and we met the owner (I think) who was very accommodating when I needed to make a last minute revision to my order. All in all this was a great post-hike brunch. One thing that would have made the experience better is if they had some speakers on the back patio playing the same music as the dining room. The back patio is a nice space but feels a little like an afterthought. Adding some ambiance and tying it to the indoor experience would be a step in the right direction. read more
