We started working with Mike in the late summer of 2020 for a complete "remodel" of our landscaping. It was a pretty big job, because the property hadn't had a full makeover in years. Mike met with us for an initial consult, then followed up a couple of weeks later with another in person meeting to go over his proposal. Our project included removal of numerous bushes/shrubs, transplanting numerous bushes/shrubs, removal of old concrete walk, new installation of paver walk and paver patio along with numerous new plantings and a complete mulch job. It took about 3 weeks from start to finish. He and his crew were on time, diligent and the results were fantastic. Pricing wise, we believe he is very competitive. Additionally, we just had our one year follow-up and only a few (~5%) of plants need replacing that he will handle. Would definitely recommend talking to Mike if you are seeking a landscaper! We greatly enjoyed our experience working with Mike. We hired him last year to rebuild 2 beds in front of our house. Yes, his design was a hand sketch, but it easily conveyed his ideas for the beds. He was fast and knowledgeable and was very willing to work within our specific budget, when other landscape installers had pressured us to go over by double or triple our original scope. Mike helped us decide on a phasing plan so we could get the most of our dollars and provided a detailed plant list with the cost break down so we knew exactly where our money was going. His installation was quick and clean, and he followed up several times after installation, including a year later, to make sure all was well. Mike helped us review our needs for creating a water flow area and laying stone pavers. He gave us great suggestions but was also willing to work with our ideas. The project was fairly priced and pricing fixed with no additional costs. He stayed in contact with us to let us know when to expect him and how the project would be handled.
