I recently had a custom porcelain tile shower installed. The glass company my shower guy normally uses did not want to make the drive to where I am located, so I used Yelp to get some estimates from 5-star rated glass companies. My requirements were a frameless glass wall with a door that opens both directions. I contemplated 1/2 inch glass but ended up going with 3/8 inch glass. I received estimates from three glass companies. The things that impressed me with Design In Elegance was their fast response, courtesy, attention to detail and their expertise. Dan, the owner made an on-site visit (which none of the other companies were willing to do). He followed his visit up with a detailed estimate that included the glass, labor and all of the hardware, and provided a drawing of how the glass would be situated. Their pricing was competitive as well. We scheduled a date when the tile would be complete so precise measurements could be taken. Dan was true to his word and kept the date open and showed up on time. His measurements as well as his recommendations were precise. The glass was ordered and arrived in less than a week. Over the past 20 years I have used Design in Elegance for all my shower doors in both my home and in rental properties. My most recent experience was to years ago. I was renovating a duplex property, and my contractor gave me a price quote from the company that he told me he uses. The price as $1800 which seemed too high. I then had Design in Elegance provide a second quote, and their price was $900. If perhaps you're thinking the quality wasn't the same. NOT TRUE. Jacob M This company is everything a customer would expect. Four years ago they have installed a shower door and a mirror in our bathroom. We have noticed recently that the mirror coating was chipping and that the shower door had water spot marks etched, although it was supposed to be protected by a five year special protection coating. The company responded immediately, apologizing for the inconvenience and informing me that the items were still under their five year warranty. Shortly after they came out out to my house (21/2 hour drive) and completely replaced the mirror and the shower door. After looking (and not entirely thrilled) with the big box retailer offerings I searched deeper and came across Design In Elegance. Daniel Mosier and team were certainly the right choice. We set up an appointment, which Dan personally made and showed right on time. He made measurements than sent me an estimate with detailed options I could make. After making the order, within a few days I had the phone call and time for the install. The installers showed exactly at the right time as promised and did a very fine/clean install.
