I hired Wendy to oversee redecorating my 1 bedroom condo over the Summer of 2024. It included…read morepaint selection, window treatments carpet, wall unit built in and new furniture . when I arrived in the Fall to supposedly my finished apt I found a disaster. $8000 carpet that was ruined by her installer. $11,000 in window treatments that didn't operate and the apartment which was supposed to be painted completely ---unfinished and a very unprofessional job. These were all contractor's engaged by Wendy that she was responsible for overseeing. But the worst was the $15,000 wall unit that was built in my bedroom where I stressed the importance of my desk area. There was not a single outlet available on that wall to plug in anything so they had to chop up the wall unit so that I could plug in my computer. Wendy was nowhere to be found. While she responded to my emails and texts, she never came back over to the apartment once I arrived to assist in getting any of this resolved. In addition, she attempted to bill me for hours spent looking at furniture before consulting with me. Her "design product" consisted of a bunch of screenshots from Perigold. I immediately fired her and took over the work-- i don't believe Wendy is professionally trained at any level Certainly her care about her clients is lacking. Felt like she would just get away with whatever she could.

With the many hours spent in my home, they made me feel comfortable, communicated well and were cautious and caring of my two dogs whom were left in the house while they provided their services! I moved into a new home in…read moreDelray Beach two years ago and spent a few months in and out of Designers Mark furnishing our home. Dimitri and his entire staff were amazing. We purchased a bunch of furniture, bar stools, and had Designers Mark install blinds in every room of our brand new home. Fast forward to one month ago-almost two years later- when we woke up in the middle of the night to a large crash and realized that one of the motorized blinds covering three large windows had ripped off its install and crashed to the floor. The next day I sent pictures and videos to Dimitri assuming nothing would happen as it was two years after install. Dimitri took over and immediately sent his install team out who determined that the install was faulty. Shortly thereafter he had a drywall team out fixing all the damage to our walls. Then he sent a painting team out to paint and match the existing dining room color. All of this was done via numerous phone calls/texts and emails by himself. A week later he had the install team back to install a brand-new electric blind covering the three windows. What I thought would be a terrible experience costing me thousands of dollars, turned into one of the best customer service experiences that I've ever had and at zero cost to me! Everyone makes mistakes but it's what happens after a mistake that everyone remembers. And Dimitri was fantastic! Extremely…read moreDisappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend I was initially excited to work with Bella Lucia on my next project. Unfortunately our experience with Bella Lucia was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Lou presented himself as a contractor but is not licensed -- yet charges a fee above the scope of project as if he were. Astrid was paid $20,000 to produce elevations/renderings for 4 relatively small areas based entirely on my design direction. She delivered barely 1.25 of the 4. They refused to show us original bids from vendors, instead reproducing them on their own letterhead with significantly inflated prices and then tacking on a 30% "adoption" fee. The lack of transparency and fabricated lies was alarming. Worse, both Astrid and Lou were consistently loud, degrading, and unprofessional throughout the process. Once the limited design work was complete, I was told I couldn't even use what I paid for because the designs were considered Bella Lucia's "intellectual property." Absolutely outrageous given the $20K I had already spent. Firing this firm was the best decision I made. Their claim that "reputation is everything" feels like a bad joke. I would never recommend Bella Lucia to anyone and feel a deep sense of relief walking away. If I could give zero stars I would have.
