I hired Wendy to oversee redecorating my 1 bedroom condo over the Summer of 2024. It included paint selection, window treatments carpet, wall unit built in and new furniture . when I arrived in the Fall to supposedly my finished apt I found a disaster. $8000 carpet that was ruined by her installer. $11,000 in window treatments that didn't operate and the apartment which was supposed to be painted completely ---unfinished and a very unprofessional job. These were all contractor's engaged by Wendy that she was responsible for overseeing. But the worst was the $15,000 wall unit that was built in my bedroom where I stressed the importance of my desk area. There was not a single outlet available on that wall to plug in anything so they had to chop up the wall unit so that I could plug in my computer. Wendy was nowhere to be found. While she responded to my emails and texts, she never came back over to the apartment once I arrived to assist in getting any of this resolved. In addition, she attempted to bill me for hours spent looking at furniture before consulting with me. Her "design product" consisted of a bunch of screenshots from Perigold. I immediately fired her and took over the work-- i don't believe Wendy is professionally trained at any level Certainly her care about her clients is lacking. She came back with a beautiful design board that I loved. She picked out lighting, window treatments, and furniture that I wouldn't have picked on my own. As good as it gets! We first met Wendy a little less than a year ago when we simply needed paint selections for a new condo we purchased in Delray. She made herself available in less than 24 hours and helped us select the perfect paint colors for our cool, new south Florida pad. She was patient, thoughtful and skillful. Let me start by saying, I wanted a WOW factor, HGTV effect when you walked in to my condo and had no idea how to achieve that look. I had absolutely no clue how to decorate my space and bring it to life and needed some professional help. That's when I contacted Wendy Lynn Interiors and in comes Katie. Katie definitely earned a 5 star rating from me! When I had my first meeting with Katie she asked me what type of look I wanted and since I didn't know I told her "Better Homes & Gardens" or "HGTV." I am glad I have the opportunity to tell others about how comfortable it is to work with Wendy. I live in Huntingdon Towers in Delray Beach and was a member of the Decorating Committee this past spring to re-decorate our 30 year old Clubroom. Wendy was hired after interviewing numerous other decorators. It was a huge operation undertaking commercial space for our building that has 168 units in our building. The entire Clubroom was redone, from new ceilings, all new flooring, new tables and chairs, window treatments, a brand new outrageously gorgeous kitchen and so much more.
