My husband and I were lucky to score a street spot nearby. The store is rather small with individual rooms so he opted for fresh air while I enjoyed shopping the unique finds. I eyed up scented bar soaps, cute little bowl, earrings, stationary, scarves, journals, lotions, candles and such before I landed on a Fulton & Roark colognes for my husband. Not sure what their intentions were, but steam does not fix rips. We sent photos of more rips and was determined by the manufacturer as a defect. Took a few weeks which is understandable to get an replacement, but a replacement couch was sent. Here we are again with a new couch with the same rips. Now we are being told that the rips were caused by our dog. 1st off my dogs are perimeter guard dogs and never enter the house. Again, same rips as the original couch and now they want to blame on dogs!!! This company was recommended as a local business that stand behind their product which we found out first hand is NOT true. DO NOT BUY FROM MYERS GOODS HOME & DECOR. I gave them an opportunity to keep their name untarnished, but just dismissing clear manufacture defects and blaming animals is not ok. Do they want to blame my bearded dragon and turtles too?!?! More than retail, it seems the place is now more of an artsy crafty place than a retail store. The entire place looked bigger...more space, since less retail. I thought they should have had some overhead music to fill the empty space, and give it more of a vibe. They still had this bar area, where they served wine (aside from the Jackass Cafe in the back). Still, I love the big, wide, open space that this place has to offer...and its Bohemian vibe. And did I mention their awesome artwork on their walls - both inside and out? She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! I have a small custom project and this will be my first place to discuss it once I've firmed it up a bit more. What a refreshing experience!!
