Very interesting resale shop. The front has high end items that are more of a classic style. The back however has tons of well organized clothing of all styles/sizes. This particular place supports a lot of what I hold dear to me, which is a nonprofit business model. When I was working over at Phillip 66 in the city West area, I noticed that you can get a lot of nice things for a good price. The owner and I have become good friends and the thing is, is that in some ways of she's having a difficult time with the health insurance issues. This resale shop is a total scam and Michelle Puckett, the lady who runs it is absolutely crazy. She took over 130 gently used (J.Crew, Madewell, Alice & Olivia, Vince, Agolde, Levi's, Athleta, Lulu) clothing items and claims I earned only $70 from sales over 6 mos. She's operating under the guise of a Christian based resale shop and nonprofit for special needs children. The contract states what does not sell after six months will be donated for the nonprofit which was fine with me. What happens next is you can only communicate with her through email after the 6 mos is up. She will not answer any real questions about how many items sold and the date I could actually collect my check was changed from 6 mos to 7. When she did get on the phone she was defensive about why I earned so little and took this sanctimonious tone telling me I was being unkind (by wanting answers about my items) talking over me saying she doesn't like confrontation. Flips on me and acts like I am attacking her saying i was being harsh and "it's not Gods way". Then she lied and said everything I gave her was wrinkled and stained (which is absolutely false) so it "had to be donated". If that was even true, they would not have accepted the items in the first place. She's so defensive and such a liar she is absolutely hiding something. If I had to guess she is reselling the items and pocketing the money. Don't let the God talk fool you. You have been warned...don't consign here if you have anything of value. read more

This place is definitely requires you to have plenty of time to go through everything so many hidden treasures. They do sell a lot of essential oils, which is nice but if you're sensitive to smells just beware it is very heavily strong perfumed, smell inside. Still love this place though! read more

Designer Diva is indeed a HIDDEN GEM! While super easy to get to, it's located in a business park just inside Beltway 8 West. Lots of parking and unbelievable huge store, they sell EVERYTHING and everybody that works there is SO SO NICE! No matter what you're looking for, they have it and they almost always have TONs of stuff on sale for $10! Anything from formal dresses to shoes to accessories to men's suits, whatever you need they have it! The store is so nice, clean and beautifully organized, and there is always somebody ready to help you. I cannot say enough about Designer Diva Resale! Designer Diva used to be my "go to" consignment store. I took a ton of high end things to the right before Covid and the lockdown and was getting checks pretty much monthly. They said they were moving products from the old location to the new one and to be patient, so I was. Almost two years worth of patience. I have emailed to see if I have a check and suddenly nothing I brought is selling. I find that super hard to believe. Oh and by the way they don't take calls to check anymore, only emails. SMH Against my better judgement, I called today to consign some high end purses and barely worn shoes. They told me they only take consignments by appointment and the hours are only a few hours on a few days during the day. I guess if you have a job, you can't consign with them anymore. Oh well. I will quit referring all the people I have sent to them over the years. I guess some business get too big for their britches. In the south we have a saying that you dance with the one that brung you. They don't subscribe to that school of thought. I will take my dance date elsewhere. read more

Amazing! This store is simply amazing. I ventured into this establishment on the recommendation of a coworker. I was delightfully surprised to walk in and find so much merchandise, friendly customers, and friendly associates. What's great about this place is the layout of the store. It is very well organized and easy to navigate. Isles are wide enough to get your card through and it's not so cramped that you can't take your time and really dig for great bargains. Too bad I didn't read these reviews before consigning here. Worst experience I've ever had with consignment store. Couldn't get to Houston to pick up a check I didn't realize I had and it was "donated" back to non-profit (very convenient of the owner to donate it to her "nonprofit"). According to contract, I have 90 days to pick up the check. The check was cut in April, but with her fuzzy math calculated June as 90 days...I came to get my check in July. Dealing with the owner is difficult at best due to her very poor customer service skills. It takes weeks to even get a reply from emails and if you followup with a second email before you get a reply, you'll get a snarky and rude reply and no answers to your actual questions. And the items in the store are really, really overpriced. I almost bought a cowboy hat that was priced at $130 and was 50% off, therefore $65...found the exact hat, brand new at a boutique for $12. DO NOT SHOP HERE AND DO NOT CONSIGN HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT! read more

I have been a loyal customer at Designer Diva for many years now and as a chronic shop-a-holic that speaks VOLUMES. I go into this store maybe once a week. I have to say that Michelle by far is the most kindest and sweetest person/business owner that I have encountered. I shop here FREQUENTLY not only because of the AMAZING sales:deals, but I am always always all the time greeted with a warm smile and a hug by Michelle. I read a review on here about her cursing and yelling at a consigner and I can say from my personal experience I have never ever in over three long years ever heard the business owner - Michelle raise her voice, and she would never curse or use foul language !!! I came to Designer Diva with a closet full of clothes that I wanted to consign. My life had changed drastically due to my husband's declining health and I needed to downsize but also wanted to make some money. I had spent a great deal of time looking at different consignment stores and from personal experience I highly recommend Designer Diva: my time has been very well spent because I accomplished my goal faster- they allow significantly more items at each appointment and there is no limit to the frequency you can bring in items; everyone is so welcoming and helpful that I immediately felt like this was the right place; their contracts are for a longer period than most consignments; their turnaround time to tag and get items on the floor is fast; I brought in a wide variety of clothes, shoes, boots, purses, jewelry and even wetsuits and ski clothes; and their stock ranges in styles and pricing which means they appeal to a broader customer base and that translates into greater sales opportunities for my items. Especially important to me- I have made money! In addition to my own benefit I learned that many women's shelters receive both monies and direct donations of clothes from expired consignment contracts. (What a smart idea to recycle these clothes to help meet a need rather than simply dumping them.) Designer Diva is also working to help the endangered Monarch butterflies - a very important r issue that plays an amazing role in the pollination of many crops and our food supply. Michelle, the owner, does a much better job of telling the real plight of the butterflies.
