Designers Avenue Upholstery recently reupholstered three chairs for me and did a wonderful job. I took photos of the chairs to the shop and received an estimate for the upholstery work, then I selected a fabric with Lori answering many questions and educating me along the way. They then picked up the items, gave me a time frame for completing the project, and delivered them even before the estimated date. The work was professional, beautiful, and courteously accomplished. If you are looking for expertise in craftsmanship then this is the place! Quality and perfection is at the top of there list with friendliness and timely delivery of reupholstered furniture as promised next. The only thing that I can think of that's on the downside is you have to be patient. There may be a wait because they are busy and perfection takes time. Not cheap, but worth every penny. We took them a chair inherited from my grandmother who had inherited it from her mother. It was a gorgeous piece with good bones from the WWI era and was badly in need of a refinish. They did the job on time and budget, Everyone was super nice, and it looks amazing (comfy, too!)
