I used Bock's for the first time this year. Last year, I had Stanley Steamer come out and they left so much sticky gunk all over my carpet that it was dirty almost immediately after they left. Never again!! This year, I searched for someone with great reviews. I saw lots of rave reviews on Google. So I thought I'd give them a try. Those reviews ended up being well deserved! They showed up on time, were so very nice and respectful, reasonably priced and the best part of all--my carpet. Oh my!! I actually started tearing up because it is beautiful again. It's a light taupe and I've been so embarrassed about the spots all year. From the day last year when Stanley cleaned it, it was matted and never looked clean after they were done. The difference is amazing--it looks like new again! They even reminded me several times that my socks would be damp (not wet) and to be careful walking on my kitchen floor. I'm older and definitely don't need a fall. So that reminder was appreciated. Anyway, they just earned a new repeat customer. Highly recommend this company. read more

I was very impressed with this carpet cleaning company. They were recommended by Carpet corner, where we purchased our carpet, and I later found out that my cousin has used them previously. Christian and Martin did a great job in preparing our rooms for the cleaning. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and answered my many questions. It's been two days now, and I am very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them. I also asked them to clean the tile grout in one of our bathrooms and also our sofa. Super disappointed. Was referred by two neighbors. Had them clean carpet, two sofas and two arm chairs. Carpet half cleaned- forgot to clean under stair and another location. Did not clean the sofas and left stains. Came out to the house 3 times, which was super inconvenient. Never once did we receive a follow up call to see if we were satisfied with re clean. Never throughly vacuumed both sofas, left product as a large clump then left a long stain after not fully pulling up old residue from their cleaning prior. Called to speak with manager and never received a call back. I would not recommend at all. read more

I use Bocks Steam Star every year and have always been happy with the technicians I have had and the results. They have always been courteous and knowledgeable about the various kinds of stains we've had and we have never had any problems with post cleaning smells ..they smell clean when finished. However we have no pets so that helps. They have gone above and beyond expectations on customer service and cleaning. What ever bad apples were responsible for any negative reviews I assume are gone from the company or may even have been from competitors. read more

I was in the hospital for a week and our dog got nervous and decided to pee in our bedroom. I called Bock's and I believe spoke with one of the owners. He was so incredibly sympathetic and truly felt bad that no one could come out for a few days as they were booked up. His kindness put me at ease. I am not a fan of "carpet cleaners" and feel like it is a rip off. Bock's has changed my opinion. I was given a four hour window but was told they would call thirty minutes prior to arrival. The night before I got an email confirming along with tips to prepare for the cleaners. The next day they called prior to arrival as promised. They introduced themselves then had me show them what needed cleaned. They were very thorough in their explanation of what would be done. The dog urine was only in about a quarter of the room but they treat the spots and still clean the whole room (around large furniture). It took about thirty minutes to do the actual cleaning. When I inspected it they had moved are light furniture (a table and two chairs) back and placed carpet protectors under the legs. The room smelled much better. The floor was dry to the touch the next morning but still damp deep underneath, it is humid out right now so I think that is the delay. We are now left with a bleach like smell and I am hoping it goes away but you do have a ten day timeframe to have them come back out. If it is their error it is free, if it just needs a deeper clean it is at a much discounted cost. I plan on calling in a couple days to see if the bleach smell is normal and will update my review accordingly. I do recommend Bock's and like that it is a one stop shop, they even stretch your carpets. read more

Bock's Steam Star cleaned my Family Rm carpet, and all I can say is ...WOW! It hadn't been cleaned in years and years. While we have no pets, we do have lil grandkids, so there were some spots/stains I didn't think would come out. Had some furniture removed, recliners, and there were some black, oily looking stains under them. I thought for sure - no hope...new carpet. WOW again! My carpet is the same color it was when it was installed. I don't know how they did it, but it looks fantastic! Almost hated to put the new furniture on it. My husband I I were amazed at the difference. Mike and his helper were great. Explained things as they worked, so I could understand what they were doing. LOVE Bock's!!!! I was actually not initially happy with the job they did because of the smell it was a little funky even though the gentlemen were nice clean etc. when I called the next day to complain they sent someone right out and they agreed that it smelled funky and thought perhaps they got a bad batch of chemical or something-they came back out and cleaned everything again for free with lower moisture and I am super happy with the end result they couldn't have been nicer and they exceeded my expectations! read more

I used Yelp to help me find a company to clean the carpet in my parents new house before they moved in. I came across Bock's and thought I'd give them a try. Every time I spoke to the office they were very helpful even when I had to reschedule. They gave me a noon-4pm window. When my son had a drs appointment at 1pm they offered to come after 2:30 so I could keep my same slot. They showed up on time and when the painters weren't quite finished they offered to come back in an hour or so in order to do the job right and prevent any damage to the freshly painted walls. Alex did the job by himself and I was amazed at the results. The carpet looked great and I thought the price was reasonable. They gave me a call the next day to make sure I was satisfied. We were on the verge of getting new carpet and spending well over $10k+. Called Bock's Steam Star and they were reasonably priced, on time arrival and made our carpet look "newer." My 84 year old mother used these guys and they ruined her lawn by pouring their chemicals in her lawn. When she called they were rude and said they would "throw some seed down for her". 40 MINUTES LATE! I called twice and left messages with no returned phone calls. No apology whatsoever even when they finally did show up. They quoted me a price over the phone but when they arrived they said it was going to be $200 more than quoted. They called their manager - Brian - to confirm and explain and apparently he laughed and yelled at them saying they wouldn't do it for the price originally quoted. Owner came to see / quote service. Two professionals showed up, on time to do the work which consisted of 2 bedrooms, stairs, basement rec-room and a large chair / ottoman. They were in / out in short order. No issues, no mess, minimal disruption to our home. All were very polite and professional throughout the process. Couldn't be happier.
