Daughter-in-law received flowers, that somebody had sent from Carmen's. Terrible arrangement. More green filler and a bow that was bigger than the flowers. I would not use this florist. We have rec'd many arrangements since my sons passing, and this was by far the worst. read more

I have always gotten great service & beautiful flowers here. The last boquet I sent for my daughters birthday were amazing. She said in all the years that I had sent her flowers, these were just GORGEOUS ! Her Birthday falls right after Valentines Day & everyone else (even though I ask them not to) always sends left over Valentines flowers that die immediately. Not Designs by Carmen ! read more

This place is amazing. The nicest, kindest people. We needed a last minute arrange for my Aunt's funeral (casket top floral arrangement), we needed it the same day actually. Carmen had no problem with that. He didn't make me feel horrible for ordering at the last minute. He actually had the arrangement made by the time I went to the ATM and returned. Now I don't want to go anywhere else for floral arrangements. His prices were great!!! So reasonable. I got a larger arrangement and real flowers for less than what another florist wanted to charge for artificial flowers. He even delivered it!!! I very rarely write 1-star reviews. There were technical problems the staff had in fulfilling my order - not itself a problem. The problem was that they did not call me to address the issue. Two days later I called inquiring, at which time they let me know they had cancelled the order. They were unable to fulfill the order that day (a Sunday) and were unconcerned about their lack of communication with me. I ended up calling Flowers by Pam, who was actually closed, but took my order and fulfilled it the same day anyway. While I hope this was uncharacteristic behavior by Designs by Carmen, I will be calling Flowers by Pam in the future. read more

My grandmother passed away today in Panama City and I live in Tennessee. I called the funeral home to ask for florist recommendations and they recommended Designs by Carmen. When I called, the first time there was no answer. So, I hung up and called again and a man answered. He didn't say hello, he didn't say how can I help you, he said nothing....he just kind of grunted. When I asked if this was Designs by Carmen he very gruffly and rudely said yes. I hesitated, trying to decide if I wanted to do business with the person and quickly decided NO! I proceeded to tell the man he was very rude, unkind, and I would take my business elsewhere. If someone is calling your place of business to make a purchase .....it seems to me that you would want to be as kind and warm as possible. Thus, I would not recommend this florist to anyone. I'm sorry if he was having a bad day....but that was not my issue nor my problem. I was a paying, grieving customer, and he was flat our rude! read more
